Awful experience. olive oil I wanted showed 5 in stock at my local Target. I drove to the store only to not see any on the shelf. I asked a stocking clerk if there was any because 5 were showing. The response was " if its not on the shelf, we don't have it". What an poor effort and response. I went to customer service and the person there was remarkably better. She went to check and spoke to a manager she said, but confirmed none in stock and apologized. A waste of MY time, gasoline, and effort, but OK things happen.
I decided to order on line as I have in the past. Three days later I receive an email that my order was delivered. I go outside and there is no package. I called customer service and my call was taken by an obvious off shore call center. She was polite but so limited in how she should respond, placing me on hold a couple of times. I then realized that my order was delivered to a previous address I had not lived at for THREE YEARS! I have placed and received orders at my current address so how my old address was utilized is beyond comprehension. I was waiting anxiously for my product to arrive because I had run out, so what a let down. I then asked the person who already offered the obvious, a refund, what was Target going to do to help restore my confidence such as some form of compensation as Walmart has done for me gladly when they have dropped the ball. Read moreOn 11/01 I visited the Vero Beach Fl Target specifically for their electronics department & to talk to someone at AT&T. I encountered a wonderfully kind employee named Sanyaa that unknowingly became my guardian angel that day! I showed up out of no where stressed out, frazzled & upset with the Xfinity store next door. Sanyaa was so sweet, patient, kind, attentive, helpful & knowledgeable. Was able to multi task with helping not only myself but other Target customers while I was filling out forms or finding information she needed to get us switched over. Even knew exactly who to call for questions, how to work tablets, androids & apples. Let my husband barrow her own charger to get his phone on & information off of it. When we left the store I literally had to do nothing but wait for the mail & my appointment on Tuesday. Sanyaa ended up saving my family at least $50.00 a month between 2 phone lines, 2 new phones & internet service! Read moreMy wife is a Target fanatic. I secretly believe that she purposefully uses all of the paper towels in the house at once so she has an excuse to go there. At first I thought she might be sneaking around, but then I realized that it actually was just a Target obsession that caused her to leave the house nearly every day. It’s crazy. I went with her today and saw that crazed look in her eye as she piled more and more of what I am certain we already have plenty of at home into her cart.
In all seriousness though, target is doing an excellent job competing with Amazon for customers this holiday season. The parking lot is full and the prices seem extremely competitive. I don’t believe they are the lowest price on many items but they offer a nice shopping experience complete with friendly/helpful staff at this location.
