IF i could give any less stars I would. I have been a very long term customer of Home Depot. Usually buying 10 to 20,000 worth each year for years. I was in store one day and they talked me into getting a Home Depot Credit Card. I really did not want one as i always use one card for all my purchases each month and always pay that bill in full. Well i was in store one day and they had a deal if you use their card! well I did, I usually have the one bill to pay so i did not think anything about the Home depot bill and i did not get a bill or a call or anything for three months. I happened to check my credit report and the score was way low. I looked for the cause and it was HOME DEPOT! They had put delinquent info in my account. My score was down 150 Points! I have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of bills all on time and they reported me for $71!!! Which i would have gladly paid had i been notified. WELL I have not stepped foot in their store since that day of learning of this, They even lowered my credit line to $500. IT was 10,000. I don't really care about that except it lowered my score even more!! I have called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do!! Which i know is wrong. The Credit Bureau told me they were the only one who could. IT is costing me thousands on my insurance for Homeowners and auto! So I hope this will come back to the actual store. Their CC company is costing their customers a fortune. I am calling my attorney now as I don't think they can put negative info into my credit file without positively notifying me. Read moreIf you use Home Depot for your counter tops, it is a scam to get you to pay for more than you want. HD told us the counter tops that are on sale for $31 or $32 per sq ft are "pre made" and we would have to pay for a 6" back splash whether we wanted it or not, per national HD policy. That means you are paying HD for an extra sq ft of granite for every linear foot of counter top you are buying even if you don’t want a back splash or if you want a shorter back splash than 6”, AND counter tops at Custom Marble and Granite (their local fabricator for HD for miles around) are NOT pre made, they are cut to order. So if you fell for this HD line, you've been had. Most issues are with Home Depot and their effort to scam you out of more money, not Custom Marble and Granite.
We thought HD would be a great buy until we heard this line of nonsense. We received quotes at 4 granite shops besides HD. We contracted with Custom Marble and Granite themselves and did not go through HD and they custom made our counter tops to our specifications, WITHOUT a back splash.
Ed and all the staff at Custom Marble and Granite did a fantastic job on my kitchen counters. They were precision cut and fit perfectly. They were fast and efficient, answered all our questions and left us highly informed regarding the care of our new counter tops. I would highly recommend them for any and all marble and granite work. They have a great selection and are reasonably priced. Just don’t fall for the Home Depot scam. Shop around, there are a lot of granite shops that have integrity, HD is not...
Read moreI have to start off with saying I use yall all the time for work and am genuinely very pleased with your brand and product and store. Everyone is very helpful and work with a sense of urgency... Recently however I bought a dryer from your appliance section and the lady was super helpful and the delivery team was great... I however ordered my product on the 11/19 received it on the 11/25 it worked for 1 day and then stopped working... I called and someone came out Wednesday 11/29 and didn't bring a replacement and also couldn't fix the dryer and proceeded to tell me I have to wait until 12/7 (10 days) for a new dryer the original delivery was only 6 days... so now I have to be out a dryer for over 3 weeks... I have tried calling (got the run around for 2 hours) messaging on Facebook and leaving a review via yalls email to no avail i work for a living so its hard to find the time to get this done and yall havent made it easy... this is unexcusable why would you not come with a solution on 11/29 when you came out to "fix it", and why am I waiting longer than when I originally ordered it? I paid for a product and expected it to work, I don't think that is unreasonable...
