Audiotistics was such a disappointment. I took my 2025 Corolla in with 600 miles on it to get front components, rear coaxial, a dsp, JL ho112 12w6, all doors sound treated, and 2 amps installed. Hertz ml pro 6.5 2 way, hertz ml pro 6.5 coaxial, alpine dsp, and the jl I purchased from them i already had the 2 Hertz amps. Ticket price just under $5000.
First they didn't tell me the JL was on back order so it might not be there at time of install. It wasn't, as a matter of fact it took about 2 1/2-3 months from time of deposit for it to come.
The next morning after the install I noticed one amp wasnt screwed down at all. It was under the passenger seat just laying on top of wires etc and bouncing around. The other had short self tap screws kind of holding it to the carpet. 2 pieces of interior plastic weren't reinstalled properly either but that was just a matter of popping the clips back in. The bezal for my ac control had light scratches where it appears they used an interior trim tool to pop the dash apart to get to the radio. I took it back to get the amps mounted correctly and got a bunch of attitudes about how it was this person or that persons fault from one of the installers and then got an attitude when I asked what was going on with my JL 12 that I still didnt receive. So they fixed the amps and on I went to wait for the Jl. A week later the passenger front 6.5 started cutting in and out. I popped the door panel to find a broken clip on my inside cover on the door that they removed to do the sound treatment. Then found they cut my harness behind the factory speaker plugs and tried to solder an extension on. The cold solder joints wrapped in tape is why the speaker was cutting out. Metro makes plug adapters for my car for about $12 each set. So to save a total of $24 they cut the harness on all 4 doors of my brand new car and then did a horrible and lazy job of splicing in new wire. Also notice the sloppy and lazy installation of the foam speaker baffles. Needless to say after all of this I just kept my shut so I could continue to wait for my sub to come in. Finally got that and when I went to get it installed I had to ask them to fix the plastic covers on my seat rails they didn't reinstall properly when they fixed the amps mounting. I can only assume they cut my other harness behind the dash as well but I won't say for sure untill I tackle that.
I went there because of one experience I had with them in the past where Tim and Andy treated me pretty good on just a tune on the system in my truck and all of the reviews etc. I usually install my own equipment and have for over 30 years since my first car at 16. But I was honestly excited and really looking forward to have them do it. I even tipped the 2 installers $50 each when they "finished" it the first time. I was just gonna move on and not leave a review but I'm really bummed about how this turned out and that they treated me,my brand new car, and thousands in euipment this way.
Before I had a chance to check the (unnecessary) solder joints on the other doors my driver door 6.5" cut out. Pulled the door panel to not only find the same lazy and bad work as the passenger side but even worse. They cut the surround on my brand new $750 speakers and installed it anyway. Unbelievable the amount of money I spent to have my car, equipment, and myself disrespected this way. Another update in my on-going disaster with Audiotistics. Now I'm hearing rattling in the dashboard behind my head unit. When I pull it to find the cause I'm confident I'll find my crossovers and dsp just thrown in there with zero attempt to actually mount them in some way. I'll video and take pics as I take it apart and update this once again. By time this is done I will have had to re-do absolutely every bit of this installation. On top of the damage they...
Read moreI brought my 2019 F-150 Raptor to Audiotistics after something stopped communicating between the SYNC system up front and the Rockford Fosgate setup in the rear (with dual 10-inch JL subs in a box). I recently bought the truck from a dealer in Riverside and wasnât sure what had gone wrong. I had seen Audiotisticsâ work before on a tour vehicle and was seriously impressed, so I scheduled an appointment and brought it in.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Nestor, who was incredibly helpful and clearly knows his stuff. Andy, Wes, and the owner Tim also stepped in and answered all my questions even though they were short-staffed that day. I really appreciated them accommodating me despite being busy, and I was more than happy to be patient and let them do things right. I even drank two of their coffees while waiting on the truck lol.
As they dug into the system, it turns out they were actually the original installers of the audio setup from years ago. Tim recognized the work and remembered the previous owner which led to him personally putting me in touch with him. That connection got me full service records and a detailed parts list for everything that had been installed. No guesswork, just transparency. And honestly, the fact that their original install held up this well over time says everything. Nothing was done halfway, and they didnât try to upsell me on anything unnecessary they just diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and kept it real. Their pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of work they do.
Iâll definitely be bringing all my future vehicles here for any audio, lighting, or electrical work. This is easily the cleanest and most professional audio shop Iâve ever been to. Huge thanks to Tim, Nestor, Wes, Andy, and the whole Audiotistics crew you guys do...
Read moreAfter having my system done twice at two different shops, with disappointing results, I was recommended to Tim at audiotistics. After meeting Tim I knew I had the right shop, he took the time to talk to me and understand was I was looking for out of my system. He went over my system in detail and explained what was wrong with it, and how they were going to fix it. After touring his shop and seeing the quality of work they were turning out, I had no doubt I was dealing with a true professional. These guys take there work seriously, the pride they take in there work really shows, and there customer service is second to none, they will not let you leave there shop until you are completely satisfied. Once I picked up my car I was blown away by the performance of my system and the quality of work. The routing of my wiring was very professional, and looked factory. They even swappeded out the wrong screws the previous shop had used. Tim spent nearly an hour with me showing me how to operate my new system properly, and how to get the most performance out of it. I never once felt rushed. The craftsmen ship of the sub enclosure was beautiful, and perfectly matched my interior. I never would have thought that I could get such a high level of musical quality out of my system, especially at such a reasonable cost, and it was well worth the two hour drive from my house to his shop I had to make. These guys are true professionals and if you choose to work with them, you will be simply blown away. Thanks Tim ! You guys...
