Gators Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Victorville

**I recently learned that the business was annoyed by my review and while I have been going there for 12 years, they wondered why I would still go there...instead of taking the criticism as constructive and using it to improve their customer service.

Did they see the positive things I wrote or only took my criticism personally? My review only has 2,097 views, but photos I posted and tagged them in, of a nicely made drink has 210,289 views (of free advertising), a photo of street tacos and wings has 53,928 views (of free advertising), a photo of a half drank LA Water has 21,502 views (of free advertising), for a total of 285,719 views of free positive advertising!!! And because I offered feedback to improve the customer's experience, I shouldn't come there?! That speaks volumes about an individual's character. Did they not read the positive feedback? Did they not see the positive impact of the photos I posted? 🤔

I compliment and tip when they get things right. I am a good customer. They have 3 different locations and they all offer a different experience depending on when you go. We don't have a lot of evening out entertainment venues here in the high desert and I appreciate Gators.

**Original Post: I love Gator's as a hometown bar, but on a Saturday night when they are busy...they need two POS systems/wells and at least two bartenders to handle the crowd and limit the wait time. Also, mix up the music! If a lot of people are singing country or a specific type of music, play hip hop, pop or something more upbeat in between. Or have themed nights.

**Update: Once again, packed bar, 20 minute wait for drinks, only one bartender!! Simply ridiculous!!😕

*The reviews above are mostly management related. Despite those experiences, they have great bar food, craveable wings, fries, and street tacos. Friendly staff!! My girlfriend, sister and I went there for karaoke and called ahead to find out when karaoke started. They said that karaoke would start after the McGregor v Nurmagomedov fight. They also told us that the cover was $5 per person and we would get $5 in gator bucks per person that we could use that night. We are visiting from Buena Park, and looking to have some fun.

We arrived just before the main event because we didn't really care about watching the fight, but the $5 in gator bucks made it a no brainer. After the fight we proceeded to sing some karaoke and have some drinks and shots.

We went to pay the tab, about $120, around 1:30am and gave the bartender the gator bucks. She said that they are only valid Sunday - Wednesday. I explained that we were told we could use them that night. I explained it is Sunday and that we we would like to use them. She said it was Saturday. I asked her to look at her phone and tell me what day it said, she said it showed it was Sunday. I said then I would like to use them. She said you can't, I asked why, she gave no explanation. The gator bucks state that it's not valid on the same day issued but since it was Sunday we should have been able to use it. I attached the picture to this review.

Had we been satisfied with her service and not been argued with the bartender would have received in excess of a $30 dollar tip. Apparently she forgot what her responsibility was.

I asked for the manager, she said she is the manager and offered to take my number down and give it to the owner the next day that I would expect a call back. It's now Monday and I still haven't received...

Used to love this little hole in the wall. When I first moved here I would go here to watch my sports events and definitely every year for the super bowl. However, as of 2018 super bowl I will not be returning. The service we received that day was horrible. Not only did the waitress look a hot mess but she forgot our order several times and eventually we just ended up having to go to the bar to order our drinks. They do have some really good appetizers and their tacos are delicious. It was the waitress that ruined it for us. The following year we found a really good place to go to. Johnny fingers. If you have never been, I strongly suggest you give them a try. Not only that but the owner comes out and actually spends time with her patrons. That was really nice to have someone care that we were there. Plus they had a really nice giveaway. We spend an extra $40 just on tickets but never won. however, the game was awesome, we lost but the waitress was on point and made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. She was...
