I purchased a Range and Refrigerator through Get It Now in Plover. I'm only 7 payments away from full ownership. We decided it was time to upgrade our bed. We have been in discussions with both Andrew and Miss Reba about this bed We had our hearts set on. The one they had in store had sold. Reba took time to locate another and found 1 in Madison. Typically if something is needed from another store the store needing does a pick up, however as it turns out Plover had something Madison needed. When the Madison store was asked to bring the bed with to pick up what they were in need of the Madison store refused. Like with many companies these days Plover store is short staffed and the other store refused to help out although they were set to come to the Plover Store anyways. These wonderful employees at the Plover Store didn't just give up. They kept looking and found our bed in Rochester MN. The Rochester Store is coming to another Store I'm WI and is bringing the bed there, that store has agreed to meet half way from them and Plover to transfer the bed to the Plover Store truck to be brought to Plover. I have never experienced anyone doing so much for 1 client in any retail store. These people are fantastic all the way around. Reba is an awesome manager that treats everyone with respect and kindness and her sales team goes the extra mile for their clients. It was an amazing group effort to make things happen to get us our bed. I can not wait until the time comes to purchase our new living room furniture. You better believe this is exactly where I am going to make my purchase. I will be working with Reba and her team for years to come. Read moreThey are great to work with until something breaks down. Bought a washer through the plover wi store. 4 months later washer wasnt working correctly. Had to call whirlpool to get someone to come out to fix, by the time they come out it will be almost 3 weeks w/o a washer and no way to get to a laundry mat. Get it now wouldnt replace or give us a loaner, said it was against company policy. Found out through another store that its up to the DM. When I asked to replace it they said that then its considered a repossession even though ALL my payments are up to date. And they won't wave the payments while we are w/o a washer. Tried to call DM, no answer. Called corporate and they left a message for the DM and the DMs boss. That was Friday, today is Tuesday and I havent heard a word from them. Good customer service until you need something. I will never do business with get it now ever again and I will never refer anyone to them.
Update: so the repair man came and needs to order a part. Could take 2 plus weeks. Called get it now and they still refuse to do anything for me, 5-6 weeks w/o a washer and I'm supposed to make my payments and just deal with it or as lori said to me -because yes I'm livid-maybe I should use honey because you can catch more bees w/honey than vinegar. Anytime there was an issue where I fell behind on a payment due to hour cuts at work or random whatever came up, Reba and the previous managers always worked with me and I always got the back payment caught up. However, that being said, the stores attitude seems to have taken a downward turn now that they have a new manager again (Tyler). I fell behind by one week (roughly $72) about a month ago and am suddenly being guilted and talked down to every week when I try to make my payment. I was even told that I had promised to make a double payment ($144) one week when I don't make enough after other bills to EVER promise a payment that large. Anytime I fell behind, I would continue to make my normal payment plus whatever I could towards the missed payment and it was always good enough, suddenly it's not. I was going to continue to give them my business but the way the store is being run now, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be washing my hands of them when my last contract is up.
