If I could give zero stars I would. The only reason I’m leaving this review is to save other customers the trouble of going to this establishment. My partner and I came in Saturday night with a 7:30pm reservation. We got there and decided we’d wait for the outdoor patio and were told it was a 30 minute wait and were very happy walking around and waiting. After 45 minutes we decided to walk back in as nobody had contacted us. We approached the hostess who seemed very frazzled. She recognized us and said she was going to check on a table outside. She came back inside with a manager but was interrupted by phone ringing to place a take out order. The manager ignored us and wondered into the bar. About 5 minutes later the hostess hung up the phone and was shocked we were still standing there. She was clearly upset and got her manager. She said to him, “these are the two I thought you were going to seat”. He laughed and played it off as a silly mistake and showed us to our table. Before he left I thanked him and explained we’d been waiting a while and were very thankful we finally had a nice table. About 10 minutes after we were sat we decided to ask for a drink menu/menu because nobody had come to see us. We asked the SAME manager who had helped us before to grab us some menus. He brought them to us and told us he’d have someone over right away. About 4 servers walking around outside and yet nobody came to our table. I started to think this was some sort of “what would you do” episode! It was 8:45 and finally I asked a waitress to get the manager for me. Before she did she asked what she could get us…I said thank you so much I just want to speak to the manager and then we will order. He came over and I explained the situation again. He did not apologize. He just said “I’ll go get your drinks and send the waitress back over if that’s what you’d like.” I said yes, thank you because we had been waiting for an hour and twenty minutes at that point. The people who were told the 30 minute wait time after us had already paid their bill and were ready to leave. We hadn’t even gotten water! The waitress came back and I tried to ask her if what I wanted to order was gluten free because I have celiac. She got an attitude like I WAS THE ONE BEING DIFFICULT. I asked her to please check with the chef to make sure and she ripped my menu from my hands and said “k”. At that point my partner had almost blown up he was so angry. I was shocked and I stood up and we left. This was the WORST SERVICE I have EVER received. To top it all off, we were not the only ones who walked out! Tons of people around us were extremely unhappy. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this restaurant. It was truly the worst experience. This place should be shut down for BAD SERVICE alone. We didn’t get the chance to try the water yet alone the food and drink. I really hope this review gets some attention and the owner of the place listens. This place is terrible and I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
My partner and I decided to go to Lilies after this experience and we had the BEST time there. I’d suggest...
Read moreMy review is not about the price , the quality, or the atmosphere.. It is literally about a policy that borders on abusive and discriminatory.. We had my girlfriend's 50th birthday brunch at chat yesterday and was completely over joyed with the quality of the food, the accommodations, and service.. For those things I would give 5 stars.. The problem is they refuse to take credit cards that don't have a chip.. Management needs to understand some people just don't want to deal with change.. My in laws wanted to pay the bill as a gift to my partner and were shocked when management just refused to take the card because of company policy.. A policy should never disregard people.. At that point it becomes discriminatory.. You'll be in your 70s someday and I hope no one embarrases you the way you did my In laws.. Try asking for ID, try asking for some form of varification, Heck call the issuing bank to get confirmation but don't treat customers like that.. My partner and I chose chat because it's one of our favorite brunch spots.. Customer service is a 100% job.. The moment you brought up fraud policy you really offended us.. It was a great day, a great event, destroyed by a lack of drive to take care of the customer.. I sincerely hope management revisits that policy and adds concessions for seniors.. As for myself and my brunch mates we will not be...
Read moreWe've been here a few times before and enjoyed our meals, but brunch on 8/4 was... just off. First of all, the place wasn't busy and the food took a very long time to come out. Then once it was placed on the table...I'll let my wife's very small $24 salad pass, but the medium hamburger and well done fries both came out well done. When I called over the waiter and pointed it out to him he froze, he then told me he ordered it correctly then just stood there. I suggested he should get it remade. He picked it up and brought it to the kitchen. 10 minutes later he returned to the table. At this point I was very hungry, took a look and this one was also well done and now my fries were cold. I then noticed it was the one I sent back (a little piece was cut out where I checked it's temp the 1st time) I called the waiter over, pointed it out and said I'd eat it and told him I was very unhappy and once again he just stood there. Didn't suggest a solution or get the manager. This is not acceptable. I left my # for the manager to call me, but it's now 27 days later and haven't heard from him. Guess it shows you how...
