Just had the cashier tell me that I didn’t need to come back because I “always seem to have a problem”. For the record, I’ve never yelled at her, cursed at her or was rude. When I asked for a bag and she ignored me I did slowly repeat “may I have a bag please?” So while my tone may have been agitated because she consistently walked away before completing transactions I was always courteous. Her outburst was rude and uncalled for. I never make small talk with her because her staring me down like a dog challenging another is uncomfortable. I’m sure if the security tapes were reviewed my point would proven.
It’s good to know that a cashier that walks away during a transaction to chat with the tourists can ban a daily customer. It’s my hope the owner reaches out to me so we can discuss my status at his location since I spend roughly $30 a day 5 days a week here
What prompted this exchange was an elderly gentleman cut in front of me. This happens often and she will always take line cutters next so I did what I always do “excuse me, I’m next in line”.
This cashier has many times made comments about my appearance, my age and now my personality. It’s disheartening knowing that a cashier can threaten to ban a customer simply because I’m not bubbly enough. When according to the SA that left recently, many customers have complained about her attitude and her just walking away from them.
Beware: you must be cheerleader bubbly in order to shop at this store. Any other personality will be taken personally by the short blonde woman with glasses and she...
Read moreWent to The 7-Eleven at Virginia Beach, VA 23451 to grab some water at around 7pm November 11, 2023. Two workers were at the cashier's area, neither spoke as my husband and I walked in. So, we spoke. One hesitantly lift her head and said hi. The other not a word as she closely watched us to the refrigerator. Once we walked back with our items both ladies were on the floor doing inventory I guess. After a min the one who spoke came up and rung up our order and asked as she seemed to rush us if we had anything else. After my husband paid, I remembered a lottery ticket and we tried to get attention as she walked away. She said give me a sec in a way like we were disturbing her. When she came back I gave her the ticket and asked if everything was OK. She asked how I wanted the prize back and then ask what did I mean by my comment. I told her "it seemed as if she didn't wanted to server us". To which she replied " you know about assumptions don't you ". I said nope as as we walked out. WMy husband and I were the only customers so for the cashier to act like that threw me especially since customer service is your job. I work in customer service and know people cam try you throughout the day brand I understand she is human and I don't know what either of them is going through but you try to treat people with...
Read moreWent in to get slurpees with my fiancé. As we were filling up our slurpee cups, the girl that was working there tonight said something along the lines of, “you can only fill the slurpee cups up once.” With a snarky attitude. Me fiancé and I hadn’t filled our cups up completely not even once yet when she made the comment. She had a nasty attitude the whole time we were in there and was very rude without reason. If she is working there when I drive up to the store, I will not be coming in, I will be going to a different store instead. Please teach that girl some manners and better customer...
