Sea La Vie — Local services in Virginia Beach

Husband and I were walking around today and happened upon this cute store. We just did a quick in and out walk around for a little bit and then left. The stuff is really cute. Staff were very friendly. For my husband and I something we were a bit pricey however for being a nicer gift shop would definitely recommend going here and looking around to see if anything would fit for yourself or for family or friends back home for gifts. I know when we went there was a dog sitting toward the front of the store if you're afraid of dogs this is just something to know. Not sure if the dog did belong to the store or if it was a random dog or stray. Pretty sure it did belong to the owner or an employee. I had a harness on and was very friendly. The store is cute and sweet, and the girl that was there Saturday behind the counter around 4pm was adorable and professional.

It blows my mind how some of these other people who left reviews can be so inclined to over exaggerate about an experience in a shore town, small businesses gift shop. I walked in bought some spray on sun screen , made a light joke to the young attractive girl behind the counter about me not seeing the screen right at the counter , and went on my way. Some people don’t like to be greeted when they walk into a store, others do. It’s not being Rude. 5 stars and 10 more to fill in the other clowns bitter 1 star review. O-M-G it's hard to describe how much I love this adorable shop! Nearly everything inside is beach and mermaid-themed. They have housewares, clothing, jewelry and little gifts.

I love the baby mermaid and beach gifts. They have hammocks, yard flags, coffee mugs, candles, plates, bowls, napkins, etc. You name it, you can probably find it here.

There are two entrances into this shop and it's larger than it initially appears as it takes up a corner space in the building. The cash register is in the middle and to the left of that is some pretty classy ladies beachwear and coverups as well as beach towels and some cute jewelry.
