Janeen's Furniture Gallery — Local services in Visalia

I visited this shop late summer or early fall of last year. I drove from Tulare to come specifically to her store as my aunt recomended me. The old lady in the store was a bit rude and condescending. The furniture was way overpriced. I left after I saw about 7 different price tags on items. I figured it wasn't that big of a deal and that I'll go to Marcela's or Casa Bella instead since Google Maps told me they're just a short walk away. I looked at the other stores, bought from both, and left Visalia very content. I returned to Marcela's some weeks later to pick up a side table that I ordered that was in stock. The parking in Downtown Visalia is known to be difficult but nothing crazy. I park near Janeen's. A bit of a walk but nothing I can't handle. As I parked and had my window down, the old lady that works there was outside screaming at someone else and saying nasty things who parked near the store who got out of their car and walked in the opposite direction of Janeen's. Janeen's does NOT have private parking, and all street parking is public for Downtown Visalia shoppers and restaurant goers. If I didn't witness this event, I would not be bothering to leave this review. This woman seems to be a terrible and unhappy person, and based on her reaction, I presume she is the owner of Janeen's. We randomly stopped by this furniture store during cars & coffee Saturdays in Visalia and I'm so glad we did because this place is BEAUTIFUL. Every inch of the store is pure aesthetic, down to the floor. Janeen welcomed us the moment we came in. I wish I had all the money in the world to be able to afford the beauty in this store. If you're looking to upgrade your home, please stop by here. There's a lot of creative energy in this entire 2 story place. Will come back for more inspiration! :)

Janeen's Furniture Gallery is a beautiful store to shop in. They have great customer service, very helpful with good ideas. Janeen has been wonderful to work with, and very accommodating. I have recommended this store to several friends and interior designers. I have purchased several pieces of furniture, rugs, and pictures from Janeen's and I have never been disappointed.
