I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone to visit this establishment because the prices posted were very MISLEADING and the staff member wasn't helpful in explaining how the game worked. My family and I visited today for our son's birthday, and we were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. We checked out the reviews, but they were confusing so we took a chance. BIG MISTAKE! We purchased 2 bracelets ($5 each) to load funds on to play the games. Now, what we didn't understand is that by paying $37 you get 120 points or 120 minutes. We did 2 bracelets, so that's already $74. So, when our 6-year-old birthday boy played his games for about 15 minutes and his brother did too, they had already spent the max points or money paid. To continue to play we had the option to recharge (reload funds) onto the bracelets at a separate machine by paying with a credit card or cash for more time. You get the point now I hope because we were there for about 10-15 minutes and our sons played about 4-5 games each and that was it. Some of the games were VERY BORING or TOO EASY and others took 3-4 minutes to play like the driving game. We know that we were misled because the attendant told us we could recharge the bands at the station but failed to explain that it would cost more money. We didn't buy any prizes either, because the prices were ridiculous like the sticky crawling wall octopus for $8! REALLY! Other toys (air rocket blasters, balls, etc.) were ALL $20 and upward. The cheap stuff like plastic toys, candy, and stickers was priced between $1 to $5. There were only 2 other families in the place, and now I know why, because Chuck E Cheese isn't the same old place as before, and now you PAY to play for REAL! We felt so BAD for our boys because there are no longer tokens or tickets! Instead, everything is loaded onto a card or bracelet. We checked their bracelet accounts on the machine and our birthday boy only had 21 tickets for $37. RIP OFF! You should be ashamed Chuck E Cheese, and if you respond to this comment, we would like a FULL REFUND!!! SHAME ON YOU! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME! If only we could tell you how we REALLY feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh, and NO SECURITY CHECK on the way out! Guess it didn't matter since no one was really there visiting anyway! If you DARE visit, just know you better come ready to spend A LOT of MONEY, after about 10 - 15 minutes there, because your kids will want to continue playing and don't understand that the games have to be continually purchased to play. No FREE PLAYS, no TOKENS, and no TICKETS!!!! All games were electronically tracked, and it was so, so SAD! We will NEVER, NEVER, EVER visit another Chuck E Cheese! The saddest part was when our birthday boy turned to us and said in a clear voice, "I want to leave now!" We had only been there about...
Read moreI stopped by today at chuck e cheese to enjoy time with my nephews and mom to have a great time. We used a coupon that included a large pizza , three drinks and a salad. As I played with my nephews for about 10 minutes my mom grabbed my attention and told me that a refund was going to be given because my mom was dissatisfied about the salad bar. It was only stocked with lettuce and salad dressing. The manager Keith Hagens informed my mom that they only but out these two things because the salad bar does not get set up until 2pm. The manager informed us that we can use a coupon for a lesser amount that did not have a salad. No compensation was given for the inconvenience since my mom cant eat the other items due to health reasons. We chose a coupon instead that had a medium pizza with two drinks for 18.99. Just as we were going to pay for the second coupon the pizza that we initially order (the large half pepperoni and cheese) came out. I was soo happy because my nephew was hungry and tired and the pizza came out in perfect timing. The manager told the woman to take the pizza back and have a medium pizza remade. I asked him could he please no do that because we would have to wait another 15 minutes and my nephew was hungry and also that it would be a waste of food as well. He said he couldnt do that because that's not the way things works (paraphrasing). After that I decided to leave because I was being inconvenienced at a place where I brought my family to have a good time. His management quite is not good. He returned my money and we left. I am unable to put in my receipt number for a survey because he kept it. I guess he knew it would be needed for a survey. My family really enjoys chuck e cheese. Too bad he messed up...
Read moreI visited this location last week for my childs’ classmate’s birthday party. It’s been over 4 years since my last visit. I’ll start with the pros updated interior with improved layout. clean bathroom decent food
Cons
The party package included everything (play pass, goodie bags, etc) however, most of the staff we encountered couldn’t of inconvenienced themselves to give one care about the child, parents or guests. Let me start with the birthday song sing along. The young lady assigned to the group who should’ve been leading was barely present. She couldn’t bring herself to smile or lead. She stood and “looked” the part. Next, the person in the Chuck E Cheese suit acted as though he/she could be seen. What I mean is the demeanor of the character was that of a teenager ie shy and disingenuous. If it hadn’t been for the naïveté of the children it would’ve been much more uncomfortable. In addition, the staff at the prize counter was disinterested save for a kind older women who assisted us after younger staff looked at us and decided to continue their conversation instead. Finally, some of the coin drop games do not dispense the same amount of tickets that are won (spongebob comes to mind). An update or replacement should be considered.
As we left this location my child implored me to have his party there next year. I can definitively say that if the reviews of staff/management do not improve, this location will not receive one more minute of my time or one penny from me. Most parents already know of the venues who respect their customers because we go to 3+ birthday parties a year. Corporate/the owner needs to...
