Everyone is telling me to tell my story about what happened to me & my kids/family here. I decided they are completely correct and I need to tell everyone. Last year I brought in about 7 sliver Morganâs Because I needed the money fast to pay something off I owed. He gave me $30 each per Coin. Honestly, I knew absolutely nothing about how much they were worth so I just hoped that he wasnât ripping me off and took the money to pay my bill. Unfortunately, I realized I was still a little short and I had a Coin left that was a 1895 which all I knew about it was it was very rare. I asked Ed how much he would give me for it and he said $40. I said to him arenât they worth a lot of money since itâs a 1895 and he said itâs worth just a little bit more money but not much. I took the money and finished paying off my bill but a few months later told my dad that I sold my Morgans and he asked me how much did I get for the 1895⌠When I told him $40 he turned white as a ghost and told me I could have gotten close to $3000 in a auction for that coin! He said 100% no doubt about it. It was worth minimum $2000 in an auction but good chance I would have gotten $3000. Ed took full advantage of me because I told him on the 1st phone call that I had a bunch and didnât know anything about them. The $30 he had given me for all the other 7 of them I found out is a bare minimum price for the lowest and cheapest mortgages out there, but some of them were worth a couple hundred dollars. I definitely 100% do not recommend this place and you guys have to be very careful with him because if heâs able to, he will rip you off and take full...
Read moreI can't hold my tongue any longer. This Coin store needs new ownership. Ed is not there being fair with patrons. After doing some business with them. I realize they will NEVER get it. He sits in the chair, the store is a complete mess and talks with people who may have a few good items about how much money he makes off of individuals who sell collections to him. All the while when you show him a set of MS coins in a book...he offers $100. That's right, a book of MS 63-64 Walking Liberty half dollars (6) coins 1939, 1942,1944D, 1945S, 1946 and 1947 all MS63/4 he offered $100. Folks, please draw your own...
Read moreJust walking in the door, the appearance of the store and the staff tells you everything you need to know. The place is a sloppy, disorganized mess. Go ahead and get a quote here, then take it somewhere else. You'll be astounded at how much more you'll get paid elsewhere. I received $570 more from another gold buyer. That's significant enough to realize this guy is an intentional ripoff.
Everything in your response may certainly be true however, this was not my experience in your store. Clean it up, dress in business attire, and make a better...
