The Bee — Local services in Wall Township

Been going to this boutique for years when I feel like shopping locally knowing I can get the designers elsewhere for cheaper. For example Bloomies sells Minnie Rose and you can go directly to the site. Yet it is nice to shop locally. The Bee has a strict policy for returns -14 days, store credit. It’s about time boutiques realize this is not advantageous given the return policies for online and department store shopping. I purchased over $1600 in clothing two days ago and wanted to return two things. I asked for an exception to be granted given the amount of my purchase and the return. I was told to speak to the owner who happened to be there while I was making my return. She has the audacity to play dumb and tell me to ask the store manager. I said why would I do that if you are the owner. She said this isn’t a good time while we have customers here. Meanwhile she went back to yapping away with the customers rather than seek to understand why I wanted to make a return or hear why I thought I should be granted an exception. So I spoke to the store manager and one other worker there who all seemed intimated by their boss. I didn’t cause a scene and agreed to the store credit yet I will never shop there again after the credit is used up and will ensure none of my family or friends do either. It wasn’t the policy that offended me but the lack of acknowledgement of my large purchase, repeat purchases and the rudeness of the owner. As I mentioned earlier the store sells nothing we can’t buy elsewhere. Shame...

Gorgeous selection of clothing. Two super nice ladies working and taking an interest in me. No problem for me to look at everything and the sale items. In truth, I am a bargain shopper and tend to only buy on sale. The price point here for clothing is upscale to me, 130 or so and up. Many items 300 and up. I think that may be intentional, as the clothes are not intended for kids. The shoe selection is accessible on a more average budget. I saw a lot of "go to" Steve Madden shoes, which I thought was smart. I was there to shop the sale and purchased four tops of my newly employed 23 year old daughter. She is going to LOVE...

I’ve been shopping here for over 6 years now, I won’t go anywhere else for designer brands I love. They always have a new selection and many brands to chose from. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful, especially Lisa, the store manager. If you shop at a boutique you have to expect to pay boutique prices. They stand by their merchandise and I’ve never had an issuer with a return, as I am aware of their policy. If you are looking for that something special or different look, I definitely recommend...
