Stopped to get some souvenirs on our way home after touring the black hills. the clerk was helping my son and I look at some knives. After telling us that the knives we were looking at were made by someone in "Montana" and "American Made" for them to sell my son and I each picked out a Damascus knife. Being curious, I decided to look up the "blacksmith" who makes these knives. The only thing that marked the knives was a model number on the tag under the bar code. After searching this model number I find that the exact same knives Are massed produced and over half the price on Amazon. With some further searching I am unable to determine if the knives are real Damascus or not. Now I am over 8 hours away with buyers remorse and a disappointed son. Hopefully the "authentic black hills gold" rings that my wife and daughter purchased...

Usually we have a great experience in Wall Drug and the surrounding stores, we drive all the way from sturgis multiple times a year to let my son have a good time but today a female employee was loudly complaining about my son, who wasn't even in the store at the time, which was heard by my mother and other store patrons. The employees at this point should be used to children because its a tourist town and if they don't enjoy children/ the yelling children do, they should at least keep that to themselves, especially considering my child was not even in the store and he was on a public street.. It all around was a really negative experience and I think that while Wall Drug is a fun place this is one store we wont be stopping at again not as long as the employees are allowed to say whatever they feel like out loud in earshot of...
