Oh my goodness!! This is I believe the most amazing store I've ever been to! It has something for everyone at genuinely amazing prices! My boyfriend and I made a trip out to Wallace just for this store, I found the most amazing Amethyst display and some other beautiful gems. Also the galaxy room is super rad! My boyfriend who is very much into wrestling found some pretty rare wrestling comics for a steal of a price. And I would say the most amazing part of the store was the owner Eddie! He is genuinely the most interesting and awesome person to get to know. I personally think he should write a book haha. He's an amazing person who made our entire week with just chatting with us. My birthday was yesterday and as we were leaving the store to head home he told me he had put a little birthday present in our bag! I'm terrible with surprises and opened it up in the car, it was an emerald and I was STUNNED! I had been eyeing the emeralds most of our time there and told him they were my birth stone and that I had always wanted to get one but hadn't had the chance. Overall this visit to Johnson's Gems is one for the books and we plan on come back a ton...

I bought a ring from you a few days ago. You told me it was a real Peruvian pink opal in solid sterling. But it’s turning my finger green…and I took it to another jeweler who told me the opal was synthetic .. it’s stamped 925 and Mexico… lol. I’m the fool here, tourist that got trapped! I have multiple other 925 rings that have never in years turned. I don’t have over acidic skin. Be careful! Can’t hate the player. Lots of spiritual stuff in this stuff, I’d like to assume the owners understand karma.

I didn’t get a receipt, but I paid cash and I trusted your word. I feel misled, and honestly, I’d like to know how you justify charging $250 for a synthetic stone in questionable metal. That’s not cool. Super cool shop in a really cool town! Not saying it was a total bad experience , and can’t hate the player, just sad. Unplanned Stop, Wow!
