Normally I have a flawless experience shopping at this Target, but I'm starting to see the signs of what other people have complained about with this location regarding how some of the employees carry themselves. I was in the Men's Restroom but then a female custodian came in just a few seconds later telling me:
"Sir, I have my sign up which means this bathroom is closed and you're on my time and I need to mop the floors in here."
While I'm usually very understanding of the stress that all retail employees have to go through, I really did not appreciate her tone implying that I was stupid and for implying that I was in her way of doing her job.
The was no sign saying the Men's restroom was closed, only a "Caution: Floor is slippery" sign. That doesn't imply the bathroom is closed, but usually means the floors have already been mopped. I can understand if this Target doesn't provide "Bathroom Closed" signs for the custodians who work here, but they should give them one to avoid the exact type of confusion I had with the janitor coming in. The encounter was awkward enough that I just left the bathroom without washing my hands because she was already mopping in front of the sinks and I already felt bad about being in her way. Fortunately, there was a hand sanitizer station near the exit and I used that on my way out.
The experience was awkward enough that I just browsed and left the store shortly after. I did not feel compelled to shop at a Target where employees lack enough social skills to politely inform a customer that they need to do their job. Had the custodian simply apologized for catching me using a urinal and letting me know the bathroom was closed, I would have apologized as well, but that did not happen.
The only fault I blame the custodian for was her lack of courtesy. I understand it's Christmas Eve and the store is extremely busy, but stress on the job is not an excuse for an employee to be rude to customers. I also place blame on the management at this store for not having any "Bathroom Closed" signs for custodians to use, because as I was exiting, I saw the same custodian standing in front of the Men's Room as a means of physically blocking men from entering and to inform anyone trying to come in that it was closed. It's just poor logistical management.
This was just one anomaly out of many other normal shopping experiences I've had at this Target, but it could definitely use some improvements and do much better...
Read moreI had a frustrating experience with customer service at this location. I waited at the return desk for about 5 minutes before anyone showed up. When someone finally did, the woman told me she couldnât view my pickup order because it was still âprocessing.â Before I could even ask a question or respond, she started helping the person behind me, completely ignoring me.
I had placed my order at 5 AM, and the confirmation said it would be ready in 2 hours. Nowhere did it clarify that the 2-hour window starts after the store opens. Thatâs an important detail that should be made clear during the ordering process.
I had driven in from another county specifically for this pickup, only to find out that my order wasnât even being processed yet. I had to go to the school supply section and ask for a manager myself. The manager explained the timing, but honestly, that shouldâve been communicated better from the startâboth online and by staff.
Exactly 16 minutes after I left the order was processed. If I wouldâve known, it wouldâve only been 16 minutes. I wouldâve waited.
Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and poor customer service.
I would recommend if you want to get something from target donât order online for pickup.
When I got to the store they only had half of my order at the order pick up desk. I had to wait for them to go to the back to get the rest of my school supplies. I only...
Read moreREPOSTING since for some reason my family canât see my comment on Instagram. đĄ I just wanted to take time to share the utterly unacceptable experience from your Warner Robins, GA store. I am currently 6 months pregnant and will soon be a first time mom in March. Over the course of a month Iâve visited this storeânot once or twice, but THREE timesâin attempt to receive my Welcome Box for starting my first baby registry with Target because of how much Iâve enjoyed shopping there for over a decade. Itâs ridiculous that such a gift is promised, yet each time Iâve either been told âThey donât tell us when weâll receive the gift boxes.â, or âTry coming back in 2 weeks.ââŚonly to waste my time yet AGAIN because there are STILL zero gift boxes to give. I am appalled that something so special, so important can be tainted so immensely by a business youâve entrusted to fulfill your needs for as long as I have. Everyone whoâs ever been a first time mother knows the importance of a registry, and the amount of thought and effort it takes to fill it with items your baby will need. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service & compassion towards this once special opportunity. Very disappointing @target , and I will be sharing my experience with your Corporate office and be sure to leave my detailed review of my experience under the Warner Robins, GA store website.
Yours truly, a...
