The women who work here are SO RUDE. My work wardrobe is exclusively Loft, and I almost never shop in the store because this is the only one in the area and I hate dealing with the staff so much. I have been to the store TWICE and have had such horrible experiences I will never go back.
The first time, I was shopping in person. I am 5'10", but my mother is barely over 5' tall, so I checked out the petites section to see if there were any good deals for her. One of the staff members actually had the audacity to come up to me and say "I think you have the wrong section, you wouldn't fit into these clothes." I was so mortified I couldn't even respond; I just walked out. To be clear, this was not said in a nice or helpful way.
The second time, which had to have been more than a year later, I had returns that were well within the 30 day period. I cringed at thinking about coming back into the store, but figured that after all this time, they had to have a different set of employees, and I could avoid the hassle of having to ship the clothes back (which by the way was only 4 tops, under $100 in merchandise). If the staff were different, they were equally rude, if not more so. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER RETURNED CLOTHES TO LOFT. PERIOD. They acted like I was trying to pull one over on them, or steal money out of their pockets! I couldn't believe the condescending, entitled attitude they took with me.
I felt like I had to write a review. I see other people reviewing that they are friendly helpful staff, and these reviewers have to either be saints, or they just had a different set of employees that I haven't encountered. The way I have been treated is no way to treat a...
Read moreWhere do I begin??? A one star rating is too high. I buy most of my clothes from loft online. When they have great sales I buy alot. Sometimes I have to make returns which is my greatest nightmare. The Warrington PA store is closest to me and I loathe going there. Each time I do returns they behave as though I have stolen all the merchandise. I always have the invoices and the purchases are always on my Loft card which I have had for years! They always seem thrilled when a return is over 30 days (which by the way anything purchased in December is returnable until January 31)..check with Loft customer service. This particular store insisted that my daughter take a store credit for a return purchased in December. They also would not take back 2 items of mine that they insisted were final sale because the price ended in .88. I never buy final sale and when I called customer service they said the staff was incorrect and I could return through the mail. I asked for a shipping label as well. There was no way I was paying to return items that should have been returned by the store. For the most part everyone at that store has attitude no matter when I shop there. Approximately a year ago I stopped the woman doing the return and asked her if she had a problem with doing my returns. She quickly changed her attitude and acted much more friendly. They need to wake up and realize that they have their jobs because of the customers. Unfortunately brick and mortar shopping is quickly on its way out and the Warrington Loft employees wont have to be bothered with those pesky...

I returned 3 dresses because the fabric was so cheap that they were see-through, and the woman at the cash wrap treated me with an aggressive and condescending attitude for making a return.
Do you think I want to be disappointed in a purchase and then waste time returning it, and on top of it deal with a rude attitude?
She made comments in an aloof, rough manner like, “Now what do you have? Those better be within 30 days. You know we have a 30-day policy right?”
Well yeah, I do. And they were within a week, and even if not, you can return for the value of the current price.
Talking down to customers isn’t a good way to make money. Surely not what the brand and marketing higher-ups are looking for.
People like her may be the reason the supply chain has had to take a hit to keep...
