Today, I had a bizarre experience at this store. My son and I were looking for earrings for his friend, but the service was unhelpful. The salesperson, Vanessa, seemed apathetic and didn't offer much assistance.
At the checkout, Vanessa asked if I wanted to buy a warranty, this was the most animated she had been since we walked in. I agreed and asked if the warranty information would be printed on the receipt. She said it would be attached to my email. I explained that it was a gift and asked how the recipient would receive the warranty information. The salesperson suggested I provide the recipient's email and phone number, which I found surprising. Why would I need to give someone else's information to get a warranty? I decided to forget about it and expressed my frustration that Pandora wouldn't honor its products without an email address.
Then, what I believe was the manager, intervened and explained that it wasn't that they wouldn't stand behind their products, but they needed an email to link the purchase to. I asked how the recipient would be informed about the warranty, and she showed me a brochure - This was exactly what I had inquired about - how would the gift recipient be made aware of the warranty? But instead, we spent several minutes going back and forth about email addresses and being treated like I was asking an absurd question and was too stupid to understand the answer.
After completing the purchase, Vanessa handed over the bag without saying anything. I sarcastically said have a good day and I left feeling disappointed with the experience and will not shop there again. I'd rather buy online than deal with unhelpful staff at a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI received a Motherās Day bracelet from this location. I wasnāt aware of the 30 day return policy, so that was on me, I totally understood. The two woman working the store were extremely rude to me and kept insisting I wore the bracelet(I had not as it was too large, the reason for the return)she said it was scratched, it was not. I said I understood the 30 day return policy, and would keep the bracelet. Both of these women were extremely rude and condescending, and should not be in a customer service position. I have spent many years as a guest service team lead in a large retail store, and would NEVER tolerate my team members treating a customer in this way. I love pandora products and I own many, but I will never return to this Warwick RI...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe manager named Tracie helped me today and was very rude. I went to go exchange my bracelet today that I had bought a protection plan for, and she was miserable. The particular bracelet is a charm bracelet with a ball that slides up and down to hold it on⦠Which the ball coming loose and not holding up well is a common problem with the bracelet. She didnāt ask me if I wear it in the shower or to sleep (which I do not, I am always careful to remove my jewelry before anything) she TOLD me that I did this I did that wrong, itās just not the way you speak to a customer. I did not particularly enjoy the interaction as it felt accusatory rather than me being valued and heard...
