Food taste is good (for the items we tried) but serving them and service utterly sucks
Order 1 plate stuffed mirchi and 1 Kadapa Karam dosa at 6.50 PM on a Sunday evening Was served stuffed mirchi at 7.30 (after multiple follow ups) the taste is good but the stuff was everywhere expect stuffed inside the mirchi and mirchi was very thin literally breaking 90% was mirchi and 10 percent batter, taste was good Was told that Dosa will be served in 3-5 minutes (after following up) but no sign of it , so after 15 minutes I went again and followed up then they said 5 minutes at which point I asked did u guys start cooking the dosa they said no then I said I have been waiting since 45 minutes then I was told that we understand your concern but no one is idle we are busy working. At that point I walked away and he told to wait and made sure the dosa was cooked (had I not followed up and raised my concern I was sure I would have waited for another 30 minutes). The tase was good though
The quantity was very less usually we get full by this order in other trucks for the same price
My understanding is that the owner figured out capital and place to put the truck and also the chef. But he wanted to save on hiring a good manager to run the truck so he hired couple of local inexperienced people who can be loyal to save money What good is a good place if it cannot serve food on time P.S : It is not super crowded , no togos, just 4 families waiting for food...
Read moreI'm absolutely thrilled to have discovered this newly opened South Indian food truck! The flavors are incredibly authentic — it truly feels like a little slice of India right here. I tried the chicken fried rice, and it instantly transported me back to the vibrant street food scenes in India. Perfectly spiced, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection!
What sets this place apart is its impressive variety. From classic tiffins to mouthwatering Indo-Chinese fast food, they’ve truly nailed the taste and quality that’s hard to find in local restaurants. Plus, there’s a large selection of vegetarian options that I’m eager to try on my next visit. The food is freshly prepared, so while it’s worth the wait, it’s totally worth it. I’ll be sure to update once I’ve sampled more from the menu!
Update:
After trying more items, I have to rave about the Ghee Karam Idly and Mysore Bonda. The idlis are perfectly soft and fluffy, generously drizzled with rich ghee and spicy karam, offering a deliciously fiery yet balanced flavor. The Mysore Bonda is a crispy delight on the outside, with a soft, flavorful inside that packs just the right amount of spice. Both dishes are served fresh and are an absolute treat for anyone craving authentic South Indian food. Highly recommend...
