I have been coming to this location for over six years almost religiously. When Mary was the manager me and my fiancé would have, and HAVE, given this restaurant five stars, but now I'm giving it one. The one is because there is still one veteran staff member named James that's been there for years that still knows how to treat a customer. Their current manager Nathan is not only rude, argumentative, and belligerent, he is also a bigot and has no business being in a management position let alone dealing with customers. Between me and my fiancé we'd spend around 16 to 20.00 a DAY at this location. We've had multiple issues this past year and most recently my fiancé will only even go if he sees James's car in the parking lot because he knows we can expect proper service.
So, our close to last straw was this past week "burnout guy" gave my fiancé someone else's food resulting in us bringing pork into our pork free Jewish home. I called the store and a young woman answered. We were told to bring the food back and they would give us our proper order and our next order would be on them. We come back the following day and we explained things at the drive through. We are met at the window by "Nathan" the locations current manager and he starts fighting with me saying that his employee quote: "barely has the clearance to clock herself in." and she didn't have permission to comp our food. I told him calmly again what happened and how we had to not only waste gas money returning to the restaurant for a huge mistake THEY made, but because of them giving us the wrong food, pork was brought into our kosher home. He brushed me off and said, "well that's whatever." To which I offendedly corrected and said, "no that's not "whatever" and you need to show some respect that bringing pork into a Jewish home is a huge deal. He continued to argue with me and tried to get out of comping us, but in the end rudely handed me the food, while talking down to me as if I had done something wrong to cause their incompetency.
We were also supposed to get replacements on our coffee because that was the wrong order as well, but he tried to argue that too. In the end, he said we could get the two free drinks as well. Of course, they were out of the syrup for the drink I get, so I waited two days to get it. So, fast forward to today: I order my drink and its terrible. It LITERALLY is just milk with a hint of light tan color. I can tell just by looking at it after ordering the same drink for years it's wrong, but I try it anyways. It's gross. I'm not sure what they did but it doesn't even taste like they put in a shot. Even another worker looks at it and agrees it DOES look really light. So he gives it back to this other person who makes it again, but apparently does it the same way even though I instructed what may be wrong with it and how many pumps of flavor as well as the fact that you have to mix the elements while it's hot and THEN put the ice and such in last. She just does it the same and again it's just milk. Like flat out it's not even sweet, nor does it taste like coffee it's just milk. My belief is she was just being lazy and didn't listen to anything I said and just did the same thing. So NATHAN comes to the window snaps at me and tells me they aren't going to fix it. I even offer for him to try it because it's terrible! He refused and refused to fix it. I took it home and had my fiancé try it and he agreed it was absolutely disgusting. I wound up having to just dump it as it was impossible to drink. How is the acceptable? I hadn't even left and told them what was wrong with my drink and was refused to...
Read moreBelow is my old review of this place. This is no longer the case. They don't hire people who actually care. Drive through times have LITERALLY been 30 minutes sometimes. Anymore, this place is delivering "fast" service at 15 minutes. Just for a bagel and coffee in a drive through!?!?! This place has really gone downhill. Tim Horton's is just north of 270 on Sawmill and Hard rd, or Starbucks is just south of this place. This place has made me late for meetings and classes while still screwing up my orders. Don't bother wasting time here. Go somewhere else.
"This place is wonderful! I literally go here every day. Though other people seem to complain, it also looks like they didn't actually discuss their issues with the store manager. When they make a mistake they are ALWAYS more than accommodating."
1/1/18 EDIT: I sat in the drive through for a half hour today. My fiance still insists on coming here, but this will be my last trip. Absolutely ridiculous that in a half hour, the kids they have running this place cannot get the order correct, and then hearing them refusing to make a drink. I cannot tolerate these millennials wasting my time. After waiting another five minutes on them to decide who was going to remake the drink, they brought it over. After all of this, they still forgot some of the order. Seriously, for the price and time it takes to get anywhere here, you might as well go to a sit down restaurant where they understand what customer service means. I truly wish I could give them less than one...
Read moreI do like the food here which is the only reason I'm not giving it one star, but unfortunately will most likely not ever be going back due to the extremely slow service and the appalling experience I had last time I went. I placed a pickup order on my way to work and the girl asked when I would like to pick it up. I told her and she said "no problem."
I get there at the agreed upon time just to find out that they hadn't even started to make my order and didn't actually start to make it until about 20 minutes after I had been sitting there and about 30 min after placing my order on the phone. Obviously I was now late to work. When I said something to the manager he was 0% apologetic and quite literally told me that my business "wasn't a priority" and that it doesn't matter when I was told my order would be ready or when I placed it, because he views pickup orders as cutting in line. You tell me how this is a proper way to treat a paying customer?? If you can't manage pickup orders then don't take them....
