I have lived in Centerville my whole life and have driven by these apartments hundreds of times. When my husband and I moved back from Charleston, SC, these made my must-view list for apartments. I think thatâs why I was so disappointed and saddened to be treated so poorly by the managing staffâŠ
I popped into the office real quick to get more information on the poetry, leaving my baby and husband in the car. I made it a step inside before the young dark haired manager stopped me with a glare. I noticed the other manager sitting at her desk watching our whole interaction through the glass wall. I tried to see if a tour was possible and she interrupted to ask about my car. For context, I was in an accident which caused the plastic accessory trim above my car to crack and fall off. Itâs a 2023 Hyundai Tucson which I bought brand new, not exactly a rusty machine on its last leg. When I tried to explain the accident, she showed no sympathy and instead interrupted me again to ask if I had an appointment scheduled to get it fixed. Otherwise, I was wasting my time.
I donât know why but I had my family tour anyway, probably because I hate confrontation. Funny enough, we werenât amazed by these. We found the interiors to match the quality and design of other local apartments that lease for less. I explained to my husband what happened when we left and cried most of the way home. I got sized up, degraded and humiliated over something that happened to me out of my control. She didnât care about context, but looks. I find this ironic because both managers were in leggings and scuffed up tennis shoes, not exactly professional, but I didnât judge.
If youâve ever seen Pretty Woman, I felt like Julia Roberts when she tried to shop on Rodeo Drive. I saw another mom on here leave a review who got sized up and misjudged for not being all put together. She might have the right idea. I guess I shouldâve came in all dolled up in order to tour an apartment on a random weekday afternoon.
If you like the look of these apartments go look at Washington Place. Same look, better club house, and nicer staff!
All I can say to the leasing staff here is, âBig...
Read moreA great, centrally-located and private place to live. Nestled behind shopping plazas with a creek as a divider, a private road leads you in on either side. The main entrance is a roundabout with the office and clubhouse (including a small gym you can workout in anytime of day and a pool open during warm weather).
We have a two-floor townhouse which features its own heating and central air units. This is especially important if youâve ever lived in an apartment or townhouse before and only had a cheap air conditioner which can only cool 1-2 rooms: our entire place stays as warm or cold as we prefer.
The townhomes include a single-car garage, which is a bit tight depending on the vehicle but easily doubles as a storage room if you prefer to park in your personal driveway. There are lots of additional parking throughout the complex for visitors as well.
The townhomes have a private outdoor entrance and walkway. Our two-bedroom has a full bath for each, and a half-bath on the ground floor near the kitchen and living area. The rooms are spacious and do not suffer from the âthin wallâ problems you may see at other places akin to a cheap motel where every noise can be heard next door.
The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. The maintenance staff is attentive and on-the-spot â I have never had to call them out twice to repair the same problem.
As noted, the complex is positioned in the middle of everything: shopping, schools, etc. are all within a minuteâs reach⊠so close you could literally walk or ride a bike to a lot of them. The location adds to the already great value of the complex and its amenities. Combine Centerville schools with the perks of Washington Township and living here is...
Read moreI came across this beautiful complex, it seems quiet and peaceful. However, the unprofessionalism of the manager did not make it a pleasant first time experience and changed my mind about renting an apartment here. I don't usually write reviews, but this lady was so unpleasant that I had to share my experience. When I first walked in the short lady with semi curly hair was barefooted in the office, looking at her phone and eating some type of dessert, I understand that we all might snack at our desk from time to time, but there's a time and place! I also overheard her curse with no concern about who heard her, not to mention that she seemed bothered and in a rush when she talked to me, but thankfully the other lady with black hair took me on the tour, at first i was afraid she was the same but I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice, helpful and informative she was, she almost made me change my mind until I asked her who the other lady was and she informed me she was the manager, which means she's her boss and the one most likely i would need to deal with and from what it seems, she puts on a good façade . That was a turn off for me! her mannerism and approach towards people isn't something i would want to deal with on regular basis, The leasing agent who took me on a tour also told me she was new, to be honest I would have thought their roles were reversed by the way they conducted themselves. I apologize for the long rant, but I've been debating on writing this review and bothers me that such a nice apartment complex is ruined by a crummy manager. i really hope someone addresses he and not look the other way before she runs off other...
