I had a disappointing experience at this Chick-fil-A location today around 2:00 PM when I stopped in for lunch on my way back to the office.
This was my first time visiting this location, and I was the only customer in line when I arrived. The cashier was ringing up a colleague’s food, so I patiently waited behind her. As I stood there, three more parties lined up behind me. At that point, the manager announced that the line should be formed against the wall and proceeded to roll her eyes. Instead of assisting the growing line of customers, she walked to the back with an attitude—yet she had time to instruct us on how to stand in line? That was frustrating.
On a positive note, Tatiyanna was very pleasant and kept a smile on her face while taking my order and assisting others. Her professionalism was appreciated.
While placing my order, I discovered (along with the line workers) that American cheese was out of stock. No problem—I chose an alternative. After paying, I waited about 10 minutes for my order, only to be informed that my sandwich had fallen down the chute and a new one needed to be made.
When I got back to the office and opened my sandwich, it was extremely greasy—so much so that my fingers were soaked in grease just from picking it up. This suggests my order was rushed and not prepared properly. I would have gladly waited longer for a well-made meal rather than receiving something hastily thrown together just to move customers along.
Overall, I’m very disappointed with this experience. Just because this store is in an urban area doesn’t mean the service should reflect a lower standard. I expect the same level of quality and professionalism that Chick-fil-A...
Read moreChick-filet T-town offers awards for terrible behavior. Went in for a quick meal on the way home tonight with my wife. Cashier was lovely. Sat down at the only 2 seats available at a large center table. Two late age teens across from us (within 3 feet) were conversing in colorful laden language.....ignored it for 5 or 6 minutes, then one boy sneezed loudly and spit into a stack of napkins and then rubbed it in his buddies face, who let loose a wave of additional profanties and threw the napkins on the table in front of me......I asked them to ease off the language in polite terms....as they then commenced a freedom of speech debate, I politely asked a manager to intervene. She did quite effectively and politely...they stopped for 10 seconds then resumed the profanity linguistics at a quieter level for 30 seconds or so...boys got up to leave and the store manager literally ran accross the entire width of the store to catch them at the door, magnanimously rewarding each of them with free food coupons...which they turned around and used immediately.....as she then turned around and cleaned up the snotty pile of napkins they left behind... we decided to leave. I appreciate the even tempered manner of the manager, but this just struck me as wrong and certainly ruined our experience...no more dining-in at chick-filet,...
Read moreI’m from Pittsburgh and was visiting family in DC. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant, patient, friendly and professional. But the young lady at the pick up window was rude and short with me when I mentioned I had two orders. After getting the 2nd order I asked for napkins and she handed me TWO and I said may I have a few more. She said and I quote “Girl bye” then handed me a few more. I then realized I didn’t have a fork, so I waited and asked a young man and he provided me with a fork. I also thanked them both in which neither reciprocated but the people behind me were thanked and told to have a nice day. I’m big on Customer service and at the moment I was ready to ask for my money back and go elsewhere but I decided not to. Maybe some of your employees need to be retrained!!! No one wants to feel like it’s a problem asking for napkins, condiments or utensils. I’ve been in the Customer service field for over 30 years and the way I was treated was unacceptable. I enjoy Chick fil a but will not go back to this location again. I’ll try a different location. The young lady that took my order was tall brown skinned African American and the rude young lady was a light skinned African American, if that helps.I don’t recall seeing name tags on...
