Macomb Recreation Center — Local services in Washington

Played here for a couple hours at 11am on a Saturday, early August. It's pretty great! Five year olds found everything engaging - the fountains, the 2 playgrounds, the sand pit, the grassy field. They were running huge circles around the space and we watched them only slightly because the whole thing is fenced in. There were a couple picnic tables and a small birthday taking place. We didn't try the water fountain or the bathrooms. The park is pretty clean though some plastic ziplocks in the corner, so not perfect. A great place to bring the kids, especially on a hot summer day. Bring a bathing suit for the little ones because there's a splash area for them to jump around in! The playground structures are relatively new, and there's a basketball court and field for teams to play. Great playground for all ages. A gated area with child toddler proof locks and spongy ground for the little ones. A bigger kid play area with some impressive slides.
