I originally went to Kay jewelers looking for a silver chain for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend does not like gold so he specifically asked for silver. When I went into Kay jewelers no one acknowledged me or asked if I needed assistance. Finally I asked one of the sale associates if they carried silver chains for men. She replied to me no they don’t (which is a blatant lie go on their website) in a rude snotty attitude and pointed across the way and said go to Michaels instead. Wow okay. Super rude and trust me I will never go back! I walked next door to Michaels and was immediately greeted by the sales associates. We got into a discussion about my handbag which she adored. She made me feel very comfortable. She asked me if I was looking for something in particular and I explained to her what he wanted. She said no problem we have a really nice chain. She showed me the sterling silver figaro chain which was exactly what I wanted and the price was good. She was super nice and did not make me feel like my business wasn’t appreciated. Kay jewelers made me feel like if I wasn’t spending thousands my business was unwanted. Well little does Kay jewelers know that my boyfriend and I have been discussing engagement rings and he was going to go to Kays jeweler but I am going to make sure we go to Michaels. I was so excited about his chain I gave it to him a day early and he loved it! Every kiss does not...
Read moreDo not waste your hard earned money at this "rip off" of a jewelry store. I am aware that the price of gold is presently very high however I bought a ring for over $500.00 that looks like it should only cost $99.00. They act like they are doing you a big favor by NOT charging you for resizing. Meanwhile they are charging you 3 percent more above cost. I picked out a ring that needed to be resized. When I picked it up I knew immediately it WAS NOT the ring I initially chose. The woman from Pandora was extremely helpful and willing to help us out and exchange the ring for the one in the showcase which was bigger than the one I received and paid for in full. She placed a phone call to Richard (who apparently is the manager) He was off that day. He would not BEND one bit to accommodate good customers that purchase jewelry at other Michael locations. Personally, we don't feel he should be in a management position. The mere fact that he would NOT help out a customer who was willing to pay extra for the ring I initially picked out speaks volumes. Save your money and go elsewhere. Obviously, he does not care about retaining customers! There are many other Jewelry stores to go to where you are treated as a valued customer. Do not go to this "rip off store" and deal with this person Richard who has extremely poor management skills and is unable to make a sound...
Read moreAlright... so... You would ASSUME on Christmas eve of all days that NO MATTER WHAT STORE you walk into its gonna be a little be of a madhouse. I would even venture to say that you might expect a little attitude, right? With a line out the friggin' door, OH AND ALSO let me tell you that I INTERRUPTED Nick while he was doing something else, he IMMEDIATELY STOPPED what he was doing (I even TOLD HIM I'LL WAIT, because I was interrupting him!) and began to show me a couple things (I even did a visual run-through of the store because I didn't want to take up anyone's time). I quickly found what I wanted. Nick, who I later found out was the manager, quickly took my gift away to wrap it up. I went to the counter, and that's when I met MIA(I can't find the damn heart emoji!)! Forget the fact she was SO "BUBBLY" at about 5pm on Christmas eve, I probably would asked for her number if I didn't think she already gets that 6 times a day from guys that can buy her a new Toyota... but I digress. Fantastic service... fantastic place... fantastic people... I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO WAIT IN THE FRIGGIN' LINE I SAW POURING OUT OF THE STORE! I'd go on and say more but you're probably getting tired of reading at...
