ALDI — Local services in Waterloo

I hadn't been to an Aldis in many years, but after reading on how they were going to be offering organic foods at low prices, I had to check it out. I could not have even imagined just how inexpensive--USDA organic, grass fed beef for the same price as regular ground beef at Walmart, sustainable, wild caught flounder that was nicely, individually packaged and very inexpensive( and very tasty!), organic berries for HALF the price of the regular, non-organic varieties at other stores, and more. It was absolutely worth going there, if even just for the meats alone, but they had an ample selection of organic and non-organic produce as well. Literally less expensive to buy organic there than non-organic at Walmart, I could hardly believe it! Plus, because the store is otherwise small, I didn't end up buying a bunch of junk I didn't need. Definitely will be our number one choice for groceries from now on--I can't wait to go back and I normally strongly dislike grocery shopping, so that...

I love Aldi especially with the prices of literally everything being very high. I have shopped at Aldi for many years. It has come a long way since I first started shopping her. I like the new stores that have been updated in this area makes a big difference with the wider isles and being able to offer additional products. I prefer to go to Aldi for all my snacks and fresh produce, breakfast foods and frozen items saves a lot of money. Depending on what I can get at my local store then I can go to another grocery store for the other things I can't get here. But it seems like there isn't as much of that since the stores were rebuilt. Don't forget that you need a quarter for the cart and you have to bag your own groceries in whatever you choose to either bring with you, buy near the check out or you can grab empty boxes from the isles too. I actually prefer this because I can arrange things in a way that helps me put everything away more efficiently...

Really like the remodel job, however they're not carrying Products I used to get here. A Dutch cookie was sold here year round & was going to gift some-Gone. Lady said could be a product we only Carry once in Awhile! Well, please put a sign saying, "Only here for & put Dates! I'm Single & when I buy produce I Don't need 10lbs or 5 lbs. Tough They used to sell Cinnamin Sticks year round, but don't have them. Asked the clerk About Chili Beans & she directed me to pork & beans.🤔Never DiD Find Them. My purpose of going to Aldi's was to Avoid having to go to Other Store's... Guess what...? Not working. I'm disabled & it's frustrating & tiresome....
