I recently went to this restaurant during the all you can eat pasta bowl event. Since I was alone while dining I found that though the servers were polite I wasn't given much it attention. The water glass was dirty when it was put on the table but they did replace it with a clean glass of water. The portions that were being provided during this all you can eat pasta event were much smaller than you normally are served during a non all you can eat pasta event. The Alfredo sauce was cold and so thick it was like a mouth full of Elmer's Glue. The angel hair pasta I ordered with my first entree was overcooked (not aldente) it was mushy. Furthermore, the second bowl of pasta I ordered was incorrectly prepared and it was cold. It was the Linguini noodle I requested but the noodles were stuck together. I tried cutting it with a fork and knife but doing so just made it paste-like to eat. When I explained my disappointment to the server they said, "Oh I'm sorry, I thought it was the way you wanted it." I wanted to say, "Really, do you like your pasta like this?" and have the server try it! The server didn't offer to fix the problem by bringing me a correctly prepared second entreè, instead he offered to bring me a box to take the dish home with me! I hate to say it, but first of all I wasn't ready to go home yet, and second of all why would I want to take it home, it wasn't even prepared right?! When I go to an all-you-can-eat event, I don't expect a server to rush me out after only 30 or 45 minutes. Especially when I tell them my food is incorrectly prepared, or when they think I'm done or should be done eating. I was very disappointed because I don't go out to eat often, and when I do go out to eat, I expect to enjoy a leisurely well...
Read moreWell i usually love olive garden....And I mean LOVE IT...But my visit this time was not so good....Everyone must of had the same idea...Because the place was packed which is wonderful for y'all...But there was no place to wait we were on the floor where people we're trying to enjoy their meals ....standing over their heads...I was thinking how the two girls felt ....Could they enjoy their meal? Were they on date ? Try to enjoy the ambiance of the place..wishing if they weren't done they could hurry up or just box it up....Because this how i would feel....The waiters/waitresses had a very hard time moving around...I over heard people with reservations complaining about having to wait and why should we have made reservations if we still have to wait any way....When we finally did get seated and order was taken ....We still had to wait almost 25 to 30 minutes before we got our salad and bread sticks..tried ordering a $5 drink and asked my waitress if it could be blended like a smoothie..She keep telling me no...Which they usually do...Then went to get my friends drink..I was trying to order a pop instead..But she would leave the table so quickly and not asking if you would like something else..You didn't have enough time to order anything else ..It was just not that greatest visit I've had there....And LOVE OLIVE GARDEN....I hope my next visit goes much...
Read moreSpaghetti, Spaghetti, and yes, more Spaghetti. You can tell i love it here, especially when adding 3 meatballs to the meal. Yummy!!!!
(Cough composes self) While still waiting for them to bring back the never-ending pasta. I can say with much delight that I enjoy stopping in every-time. The Food is always excellent, the Service is top notch for alot of good employees with a love of their work, and the atmosphere is pleasant. (Although I would rather see photos of the community enjoying the food on their walls rather than people in a different time/era but thats a corporate concern.)
Who am I kidding, I love coming here for my deep hunger for anything pasta. I also enjoy the Fried Mozarella sticks or the Ravioli bites. Alone they are a meal unto themselves in my opinion. The deserts while pricy are what add to the ending meal.
If you are a pasta fan or just enjoy the ambiance to sit and enjoy good food with friends or family, Olive Garden is always a good choice and this location is no exception to it. Try it for yourselves. And always remember to be patient when its busy.
People tend to get mixed up when its a packed house. I always come during the slow periods so the service is more pleasant.
You cant complain when you choose to eat there on a busy day or hour like everyone else waiting in line. Staff are working overtime so be pleasant...
