Used to be a huge Habitat supporter - No more! I just dropped a table off for donation to the Waukesha Restore location only to be snarked at by the girl and guy for not having chairs with the table I donated. I have supported Habitat for years and this is the only location that seems to have their own special attitude. The table I donated, seats 6 people, it is clean and will make a nice addition to someone's home. The last time I checked, Habitat sold chairs. I didn't purchase the chairs when I bought this table years ago. Apparently that is unacceptable to Habitat these days. My big mistake today was not closing the hatch of my car and taking the table to someplace or someone who would actually appreciate a big table. Read moreHuge Restore , recently reorganized with new items coming in 5 days a week. I have volunteered on the construction side for 5 years and I’m currently working on my 18th and 19th home. The weekly core group of volunteers that work tirelessly on these houses are some of the best people I have ever been around. The quality of workmanship is nearly second to none. City inspectors comment often how the quality of the work is far superior to most commercial and residential builders.
