Nabors Shoe Center — Local services in Weatherford

I don't even know how to start this review really because of the disgust this company has bought me. I've shopped many many places in my life and I've heard of this situation I'm going to describe but I've never experienced it. I took my wife to find some hey dudes, along with my two year old son. We walk in, there is three girls in the store, one behind the counter the others I thought where customers. No greeting, no nothing, no help at all. Just looks. So we don't mind but the girl behind the counter walks off and disappears. We make our way to the area where woman's shoes are and began to look. At that point I noticed one of the girls looking at some shoes close to us but she kept side eyeing us, watching us. I then realized so was the other girl I thought was customer. Weird but no bother. I than move to the men's section with my son and leave my wife to look. At this point one of the girls followed close acting like she was looking at shoes to buy but watching my every move literally. So I go to the other side of the store where they have sports shoes, and she follows. Not asking to help or show anything just watching and literally glaring everytime I look at her. I started feeling uncomfortable actually at this point. I go back to my wife where the other girl is still about 6 ft away just staring at her trying on shoes. They then go to one another and say something then continue to act like they're shopping but watching us. My wife found a pair and was showing them to us when one of them approached finally, took the shoes out of her hand and just walked off and set them behind the counter. I was like okay, and so we walked to the counter. She returned to her watching spot and just stared, then the girl that disappeared came back from the back and when we told her we wanted to buy the shoe's she looked surprised and asked if we where sure we wanted to buy them. Um yeah that's what we came for. I have never, ever been followed around a store like that and stalked. The workers where very weird, not sure if that's how they're trained but will never be back again. Very uncomfortable feeling, very unprofessional, and just out right creepy. We're not criminals, didn't even have a bag or purse lol. Learn to treat people better and not judge, I guess idk what to even say about it other than I know I won't be back. Quit profiling. It just cost...

Small selection of men's shoes compared to women's, which is somewhat understandable but not to someone that has as many pair as most women. Then I asked where one show was made and got an answer that just sounded somewhat rude, "Probably China". Idk, maybe they should know where their product is made? 🤔 Turns out that they were made in Vietnam so just shows product knowledge is definitely poor. My buddy did get a pair of reasonably priced NB but other then that, they made me feel like I wasn't good enough to be in their store and that feeling will be reciprocated. My advice, go...

I think the place was great, but I felt super uncomfortable being followed around by the employees. They did approach us twice. Once when we walked in and another time when I asked about the shoes. We could tell when we were getting side eye and one or so would be standing close “looking” at something near us. My friend and I both made it feel like they thought we would be stealing. But from reading a review I guess this isn’t the first time this has happen. Don’t get me wrong it’s a cute store in Weatherford, just made me feel uncomfortable...
