Escape It Houston — Local services in Webster

We’ve done a lot of escape rooms — including two at this location — and unfortunately, Kraken Casino just didn’t meet our expectations. It seemed the room wasn’t completely set up when we started: one of the wall puzzles was missing the key, and we actually found it just laying out in the room. The toolbox that was supposed to be locked was already open, and the dealer’s box wasn’t set up correctly either.

The first room we did here was Skulls, and it was so dark that it was incredibly hard to see. The lantern wasn’t charged, which really prevented us from being able to complete the room. Out of more than 20 escape rooms we’ve done, we’ve only failed to escape twice — and this one was entirely due to the lantern issue.

We really enjoy escape rooms and love when they’re immersive and well-organized, but both experiences here have felt unfinished and frustrating. Hopefully, future groups will have smoother experiences once everything is fully prepared...

This was my first escape room experience. We are a group of 6 with ages 10 - 75. We did Captain Tik Tok’s Circus, which was a lot of fun and required a good deal of problem solving without being impossible or frustrating. We were able to complete the tasks to escape the room. We met the owner and he gave us a good descriptions of the other rooms. This is a brand new location and I recommend for a fun thing to do with a small group. We will definitely return for...

Our experience was amazing it was me and my son and although I wish more people would have signed up because it only ended up being the two of us we did end up getting to room two out of three. Technically we lost but 1 hour is a good amount of time if we would have had a few more minds to help but the puzzles will fun and engaging turns out the one we did was the most difficult one but we were unaware of that when we signed up either way it was a...
