I love Smoothie Depot. I have been going here for several years. I used to go to the one off of Fuqua but since I have moved I go to the location in Webster. I rave about Smoothie Depot to my clients and my family! However, after the experience I had today, I am debating on if I will even return to Smoothie Depot. Usually the owner is very friendly. Today there was a young lady who I have never seen before. When I came in I said āHelloā because I could not see anyone inside. My mother (who was trying Smoothie Depot for the first time) didnāt hear or see anyone as well so she said āhelloā in a friendly manner. I walk up the checkout counter and the young lady at the front said to us āI said helloā. I tell the young lady, āI apologize, I did not hear you.ā I order my drink, and at this point my mother was already turned off and no longer wanted to order her smoothie because of the way the young lady said āI said helloā. We waited for my smoothie. It took 10 minutes for her to make my choco wicked smoothie. Once she said it was ready, I went to the checkout counter, she handed me my drink and said āPlease tell your mom not to force me to say helloāā¦ā¦ā¦I told her āMy mom only said hello once because we didnāt know if someone was here, we werenāt trying to be hostile or rude at all. We were just trying to greet whomever was here.ā The young lady said āWell, Iām just sayingā and looked at me very rudely. My response was āhave a good dayā. I then returned my smoothie to her because I didnāt want it anymore. Why would I? Moral of my story is as a business owner myself. It should not feel like a task to say hello to a guest when they walk into YOUR building. You should never feel āforcedā to say hello because as an employee that is your job, and lastly you should never tell someone ātell your momā¦ā when that person is standing right next to you. Tell...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI refuse to give them my business cause everywhere you see the guy in the lifted truck that they use for advertising drives like he owns the road and always takes up 2 parking spots at the front door of every business he goes to like he is better than everyone else. Either park like a normal person or ill post pictures everytime I see it, u not better than anyone else so stop takin multiple spots Edit....wow what a response, And since u brought it up, notice all the other cars are inside the lines easily and if you Inna big truck like that why you parking in the tight spaces up front anyways. And I talk to several people who see you driving like a maniac and won't go there and I'm sure the more you drive and park the way you do the more and more people who will not go there and eventually all businesses that have your attitude usually fail after a few years because word of mouth is one of the best forms of advertising and the word of mouth in the Bay Area area is that you drive like you don't care about the safety of anyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I loved this place until today. If anything can describe awkward and hostile it would be our visit today. The girl was rude, didnāt care to greet anyone at the door and then looked upset that she even had to take an order. Been a fan of yall for years now, but today yall really changed my view on this business. I called and asked for a manager. They said they donāt even know when heās going to come around and proceeded to ask why I wanted to speak with him like she didn't already know. Then when I asked for her name she said she couldnāt give it to me . Anyways. This was just a bad experience overall. Such a shame a good business has let ignorant workers ruin long time coming customerās experience. Promise yāall it...
