Ok I like kohls but they desperately need to get organized. In all dept besides jewelry. When you walk in the store you feel confused and overwhelmed. It should feel and be more open. You should be able to walk freely around things you are shopping for. Number one thing I hate is to feel like I am at a flea market shopping. And at a Dillard's price tag?. Those 2 things do not go together. So if you want the higher prices on your items you are selling then display them like they are worth the asking price. As it sits now, I would turn around and walk right out and go to.Ross to pay the cheaper price but would have to hunt for it. But those 2 things or reasonings go together. Make sense to have to hunt for the better or lower price. Right. ? My husband and I went in to the wentzville store to get me underwear and bras! What a flipping mess! I walked out and my husband said to me "wow that was a complete mess in that department, you couldn't have found anything even if you wanted too!" I hate to complain but I see.it as giving helpful suggestions. Make Kohls a happy place to walk in to and a bright store (actually brighter store you no with real lighting so that you can tell if you really like what you might find ?) Don't do these dull lights in dressing rooms or soft lighting. It sucks and gets you more returned items. Oh and hopefully you get a new buyer for your clothing. Real women sizes. You know with real breast not man made ones and real butts' that are not in tip top shape. Ha ha. Seriously. Your clothes fit most the time are for the petite people. Little build. I'm not a huge woman but I'm not a petite woman either I would say average but very busty. ? Just buy from some designers that keep it real. Like real in sizes not like wishful sizing. I'm sure there are new upcoming trendy designers that keep it real when it comes to sizes and average build people. I know there are a lot of petite people but there are on an average bigger built people. You could real bring up your sales in clothing If you would think like the buyers do not buy like the seller. I think knowing your customers and in your surrounding area by the sales generated over the years, you should know that there is not one size fits all. Never has been never will be. Ok I'm done 4 now. I'm just stating my opinion not trying to be mean or slam the store. Trying to be helpful.
ok the above post was an older post. And I must say Kohls in Wentzville has done 360 in their store. Its better organized and the staff is friendly and helpful and the...
Read moreThe clothes? Great. The deals? Great. But the cashiers? Well they’re really nice and they’ll even go out of their way to make sure you’re getting a good deal. However, THREE TIMES I’ve had to take back things to get the security tags removed.
The first time was back when I was 16 buying bras. The cashier was a teenage boy who was so embarrassed he didn’t even bother taking the security tag off.
The second time I was getting dressed for one of my band concerts my junior year. Then I saw my shirt had a security tag on it. 1 hour before the concert. So I had to look frantically for a decent shirt to wear to my concert. It was very difficult. Luckily I got to wear it at my next concert.
Currently I’m in my second year of college and tomorrow I am performing with my university percussion ensemble. I accidentally left the black shirt I recently bought at home. And my mom just texted me and said I was lucky I left it home because the security tag was still on my shirt and she could drive by Kohl’s and get it removed before my performance.
So...as you can tell Kohl’s security tags are kind of a part of my adolescence. From the awkward bra shopping of the mid teen years to my last performance as an underclassman, and now as a college student. It’s frustrating but now also a reason why I get nervous shopping at Wentzville Kohl’s. You’re getting a good deal on all these clothes but you never know if you’re going to find a security tag on one of them on the day you were going...
Read moreWell, I wish I could give five stars. However, this trip did not met my expectations. I was searching and searching for a gift for my Church Secret Pal, and birthday gift for grandson. I tried to find an associate to help me. There was nobody on the sales floor. Strange, I thought. I did my best to search through endless aisles of clutter misplaced items. Messy shelves, even other shopper's had left empty soda cans, and their fast food bags in odd places. Maybe a NO Food inside would be helpful. Then as I continued my shopping, I looked at some yoga pants. I found the perfect pair. Only not my size. Again NO associate to assist me! Another customer tried helping me, suggested I go to the register and ask the cashier. She had to go somewhere for help. When she returned, she explained those were the last pair of "short" style yoga pants, AND they were discontinued! She offered me other choices. Nothing that I REALLY wanted. So in summary, I'll check the other Kohl's Store in my area to see if I have a better experience. Four...
