There staff is extremely rude they treat anyone who walks into the store who is younger. And where in our 30s now like where criminals. Called and reported my roommates card as fraud evem though it was his own card!!!! And when calling the bank to clear up they told him that they called fraud department. No reason. We have gone in there numerous timea ans everytime they treat us this way. Its ridiculous if u ask me. But if your an older person walking in the treat u with respect and loyalty i fewl like its a crime to want to teach our children its ok to have hobbies n what not. I will never go in the eatablishment again until they hired a younger worker or a staff who will treat all customers with respect oh yah and dont even. Bother aaling to order a car or part it takes about 6 mos to het. 5 dollar part or one person will say yah yah yah we cam and the next will be like well uh. Nope. So dont even bother. And we like the slot cars thats. Huve mkeby spender in there especially wjen one car a basic car starts around 40 bucks and a basic set is 300. They ned to start giving respect. That said, I think the customer service is pretty lousy. I walked in, and said good morning to the person behind the counter, who completely ignored me. Not so much as a nod or a grunt. Nothing.

Neither of the other two employees I saw said a thing when they walked by either, though one did at least make eye contact, so that's something I guess.

Might have been nice to have been asked if I needed anything, or at the absolute least got a hello, or good morning, or some hint that they cared. I was there for at least 20 minutes, looking at models mostly, so I think they knew I was in the store.

I'm really disappointed. I had planned to buy a model kit and some plastic cement, maybe some other stuff, see if building models might be a fun thing to start doing. I was really looking forward to my visit, but if that's how much they value my business I'm sure not spending any money here.

The biggest collection of still sealed, discontinued models I've ever seen. This business has been successful for a long time, with a mail order service that I'm guessing is a big part of their revenue. Being at the actual store is like going to a museum for gear heads. Huge variety of (everything in various scales) die-casts, models (in the box and assembled), slot cars, tracks & supplies, trains, rockets, paint and assembly supplies, vintage military models, some arts & crafts projects. They have a fun little carrera track set up and host racing Tuesday nights. Service can be spotty, it seems at times the staff is doing their best just to keep up with displaying the new inventory...
