The one star is directed toward the AT&T sales rep who mocked me, and the inappropriate conversation among the employees.
I went to Target to buy a mouse for my laptop, and on my way to the computer accessories aisle, an AT&T sales rep approached me. I politely told the first AT&T sales rep that I wasn't interested as I already have AT&T. Then, the other AT&T sales rep followed me into the computer accessories aisle as he mocked me in a very condescending, childish tone, "I'm not interested. I already have AT&T." Then he said something I couldn't make out. I'm certain it was an insult that he muttered. I was about to confront him, but he walked off before I had the chance. Then, as I was contemplating on which mouse to buy, those two AT&T sales reps and Target employees in the electronics section by the cell phones were fraternizing with each other as they were having the most inappropriate and irresponsible conversation about how they couldn't wait for their shift to end so that they could go party, get drunk, and hook up with some hot girls. Hmmm, are those man boys not aware of Covid-19? That is very irresponsible of them to be conducting themselves in such a manner in these Covid-19 times.
I can not believe that Target and this store would allow such behavior. The way those man boys were conducting themselves was appalling. They were carrying on like immature frat boys in a strippers bar. That was the most inappropriate and irresponsible behavior and conversation for those man boys to have had been having in a reputable place of business such as Target. Target is not a frat house nor a bar. I urge this store to retrain all their employees that inappropriate behavior such as those man boys and their impromper conduct is unprofessional, unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Therefore, I will no longer be shopping at this store. It would be irresponsible of me to bring home Covid-19 due to those reckless and careless AT&T sales reps and...
Read moreI want to share my experience at the Target at 2600 S 108th St West Allis, WI 53227. This evening I accidentally left my cell phone in my cart as I was getting my purchases and 8 month old son into the car. I did not realize this had happened until I got home and immediately headed back hoping that the phone had been found and turned in. When I arrived back I was told the phone had not been turned in but I could check the carts if I wanted to by customer service. I asked the cart attendant (Austin) if he would mind helping and he immediately began to help me check the carts searching by the carts he had just returned. He also taught me how to use google to find my phone and even tried to do so from his own. At this time we were unable to locate my phone so I returned home to see if I could use the online program to find my phones location. I was successful in finding the location at home and immediately returned back to the store to try to find my phone. On this second visit the frond end manager with the brown and blue hair spoke to me in a very condescending tone and made it clear that she did not care to help. I even had to ask her if I could leave my phone number to be contacted if the phone was turned in. She took my number, but acted like it was an inconvenience. Austin on the other hand, armed with the information on where my phone was likely to be located spent a good 20+ minutes or so searching the cart area with me to try to locate my phone. Unfortunately, we were again unable to find my phone. However, I feel that Austin deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond to assist a customer. He is a phenomenal employee and one that I would hope others would emulate. #target...
Read moreWas fine until we went to check out. The clerk put a hard close on the poor lady ahead of us to get her to apply for the Target credit card. After saying no, 4 times, she finally relented. The she had to show her ID and answer questions on the termial all while the line backed up behind here. What bothered me most was the persistence of the clerk in not taking no for an answer. It was like watching a timeshare sales pitch. I expressed my concern to a near by supervisor who said " I know, but corporate keeps pushing us to do it." The reason they do it is because once you have their card the amount of your average sale will increase along with the frequency of your purchases. Additionally the now have your information to send you emails and promotions.
I work in retail so I know how it goes but when the customer says no 4 times and you're holding up 5 other customers, it's...
