Rude jewelry department sterotypes you then ignores you base on appearances. Aand unless your old or look wealthy you are ignored when it comes to customers service until check out very gloomy and so now I prefer going online or else where as they cater to ng to but a necklace for my mom here but was told 'again sterotype ' that by the employees ass-umption I couldn't afford a $300.00 dollar necklace to go into cheap area 'I'm sure deary you'll find something affordable there now excuse me' as she went to help older couple I was astounded how could she do this to me just because I'm not dressed to the 9nines seriously. When I got a manager she was rude as well teing lady just show her the darn necklace and she'll see she can't afford it. Ya I won't be going back there for jewelry ever, ever again they act like I was a punk. Heck I work 2 jobs and happen to be a 34 middle class adult thanks for tour older workers with cheap wages show customers like me such a warm reception of good customer service whether in bedding, clothes or especially Jewelry Thanks NOT. Will be taking my business eles where unless I absolutely have to step foot in Kohls this sterotyping of young adult has to stop or they will continue to...
Read moreThis Kohl's store, along with others, has decided to reduce both the footprint of offerings, apparently as well as options of existing stock. This appears to be related to the inclusion of the Sephora store inside the larger store footprint. They seem to have closed down one set of registers and closed access through the doors at that end of the store as well. The single mens' fitting room has shrunk and seems to be in a perpetual state of chaos. I've also had female employees come into the mens' fitting room and bang on the door to my cubicle and shout something about who can and cannot use the fitting rooms. Talk about a shock to the system. On top of all that, going to the Kohls website and attempting to purchase items which were not available in the store, I was met with the inability to use the Kohls charge card since I'm the secondary party on the shared account. In calling their 1-800 number to try to fix this, the support personnel required 8 different forms of verification information and STILL wouldn't proceed with the purchase. If Kohl's is actively trying to lose customers, this seems like a textbook...
Read moreI was treated poorly by several staff from the dressing room lady being jumpy to the cashier using a not so nice tone in her voice, literally while speaking to me! I asked the cashier why she was in essence yelling at me in a tone. The other cashier looked at me and said, "she's not yelling at you"! I will never go back to the West Bloomfield Kohl's again. If I interact with staff that are so rude at another Kohl's, that's it I'm never shopping there again. I felt like a child and in a condescending way, it flustered me and ruined my day!
In addition, I was told that I could only utilize the Kohl's 30% off coupon via paper and photographed on my phone. I'm sorry I don't want to carry the paper everywhere. Even Ticketmaster doesn't utilize paper anymore. Why is this a problem if I took a picture of my coupon and put it in my phone. That doesn't make sense to me!
In the past, I have not had a problem. I asked the cashier why she was yelling at me! The other cashier said she's not yelling at you! I felt a little ganged up on and I was doing nothing wrong but trying to pay for my items that I was purchasing for my son's...
