Alright I've had this typed out for a couple days now waiting for the follow up phone call that always takes place after the visit before I submitted this to maybe see if they can resolve this before I do a google complaint. Sadly when she called though she asked how I was feeling and I told her that I just made and appointment with another Dr because it was my worst experience ever at Walgreens and she hung up on me. But here is my experience...... I have been to the Take Care Clinic several times and always been pleased with the outcome, but today 08/15/2016 I made a visit to the clinic because of sore throat and sinus problems that I feel are getting worse, I don't like to waste my money anymore on over the counter stuff because it never seemed to help. I wasted a $40.00 co-pay only to be told I need to gargle some salt water for my sore throat and get some Afrin spray for my sinuses. I went ahead and got my asthma inhaler refilled which even when paying cash has always been between $30-40.00. BUT NO even with insurance today they charged me $40.00 and said the inhaler without it was $79.00. I was not offered a strep test for my sore throat and was refused any antibiotics. So I practically was robbed because I walked out of there no better than I walked in with no way of getting better other than gargle some salt water she says and my pockets were $80.00 lighter. I arrived early 4:30pm my appointment was at 5pm hoping to get in there early but it didn't happen. I went back at almost 5:30 and then wasn't out of there for close to another 40 minutes later which is by far the slowest visit I've ever had there also. I will never return to Walgreen's and I hope this helps for anyone who is sick or feeling bad, take it from me and go to another Clinic because this one is a joke and so is was the today Nurse. To end this whole thing I am 3 days into this and my Dr Visit reveled that I do infact have Strep and this morning I woke up blowing my nose with a lovely shade of green. So long story short what is the point of having a take care clinic if you all aren't going to take care of the customers who keep you in business. Also now I'm $120.00 lighter in the pockets and after Co-pay's not to mention leaving work early and gas and wasting time. The only thing she did that day was take my temp, check my blood pressure and listen to a heart beat, she did offer to stick her scope in my ear and then followed that up with showing it into the end of my nose very quickly and said nope they aren't infected.... best of luck to you all. hope you take your business...
Read moreHonestly, I had to come here and really rally behind the employees at this Walgreens pharmacy, because I’m so over the low ratings. I actually switched from HP bc they kept changing their hours, and legit just randomly started closing on weekends. This Walgreens is sometimes understaffed, just like Walgreens all over the country are. But I’ve been here for almost a year now, and i PERSONALLY would never know they were understaffed— maybe busy… but people get sick! People are chronically ill, like me, and they are the first pharmacy to treat me like a human being after seeing what meds I’m on. I’ve had pharmacists push their personal beliefs on me. I’ve had them openly judge me by telling me I shouldn’t be on this, that, or the other, because they just don’t like it. Well that is NOT how the Walgreens staff acts at this location. They treat me like a human being who is sick, and they are compassionate toward that and me. When my husband picks up my meds, they treat him well too. I’d had to go to a funeral out of town, and when my husband went to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist remembered, and told us to have a safe trip, wishing us condolences. Lastly, my psych is an elderly man who has started making mistakes… like ones that can have detrimental consequences on me as a patient. Walgreens has had to deal with my stress over his mistakes, deal with his errors period, and have done so with grace and kindness. This is about the 4th time my doc has messed things up over there, yet somehow they always seem to pick up the pieces. Finally, my aunt (I have a very large Family, all getting older) had passed away yesterday, and again I’m having to ask Walgreens to help me with my doc making this colossal mistake. Instead of losing his temper like I would’ve expected, the young man was kind and patient with me as I navigated how to get it straightened out. I love my doctor, and it’s hard to find good ones in that field… so that’s why I’ve stayed… Anyway… let me just say that Walgreens’ staff do not control the price of your meds, and they don’t WANT to keep you waiting. They are trying to get you taken care of. Remember to give them some grace. Thank you buechel Walgreens staff for always having my back. Ben and I thank...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Pharmacy experience I could possibly imagine. Not to mention management is about as useless as could be. I had 24-hour pharmacy her physician request for my wife. This was the closest one so so it seemed to make sense. Well @midnight or before 1 in the morning prescription was submitted to Pharmacy by physician. At at 2 a.m. 3 a.m. 4 a.m. 5 a.m. and again when I woke up at 7 a.m. The the pharmacist told me they did not have the prescription they had not anything from the doctor. Nothing on the voicemail either I was told. Not to mention how hard it was to get the lazy old man to answer the phone. I would sit on hold for 10 minutes at a time and finally call the store and they would walk the phone back to him to let him know that he was supposed to answer it when they transferred it. It it seems absolutely ridiculous to me that at 7 a.m. when they squit switched shift the new pharmacist founded in 35 seconds. I today have called back to discuss what happened last night and early this morning. When When I asked about the attending pharmacist between midnight and 7 a.m. They couldn't say who it was. Let me repeat that the manager doesn't know who was working and couldn't find it for 35 minutes while I was on hold. I'm not stupid he wanted me to hang up but I'll find out. This place is literally s* and outside of the nice lady at 7 this morning corporate should fire them all and and bring in someone with some people skills and a kind heart. Or at least someone...
