I eat here fairly often and the food is great. After my experience today it might be awhile before I go back. I came to pickup my order and I had my service dog. I was denied service even after explaining that he was a service dog and access was required (he was wearing his vest however I'm only required to disclose that he's a service dog trained to perform a function). I returned without the dog and made the lady call "the manager" who was actually her son. I was then forced to submit proof that he was a service dog (despite that this is not required, I showed the email where I had ordered him identification tags which specified he was a service dog - being identified on his tags protects him if something happens to him as being a service dog entitles him to life-saving, emergency medical care even if I am unable to pay for his treatment prior to services being rendered). After my food had gotten cold and I had spent 10+ minutes on the phone with her son I then got the privilege of paying for my food. It was humiliating and embarrassing and after all that I got to pay for cold Chinese. My life is enough of a struggle without dealing with situations like this in public and without the assistance of my dog. And in front of 2 separate groups of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I got the Garlic chicken with steamed white rice and a bowl of hot and sour soup. The chicken was delicious, the veggies were fresh, all white meat that was very good. The rice was nice and sticky. My only complaint was the soup. To be honest, the soup was no good at all.
I normally order the General Tso or Sesame chicken, and they are delicious. Always comes very hot (temperature not spicy). The chicken is white meat, not that weird brown or pink like some places. War Su Gai is also delicious. The portions are very large and satisfying. You will have some left over unless you are a 500 pound sweat hog.
Egg rolls here are decent, but the spring rolls, oh man, they are on point. I usually put them in the over for a couple minutes to make them extra hot, but they are light, crispy and delicious. I use a little bit of soy and some of their duck sauce on them. Just thinking about their spring rolls is making me slober right now. Lo mein is good, I would say average. The rice that comes with the combination meals is a little bit better than most of the other restaurants with the same pork fried rice.
Out of a whole lot of Chinese take outs that I have had in my day, This place is def top 5. I can only think of one place that is as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAnybody who thinks this place serves good Chinese has never had any good American Chinese food. Never been here so I ordered something simple. Got the house fried rice with no pork thinking they would at least be able to fix that right. Started off bad when I asked to eat in. Lady working the front didn't give me a plate or a tray, just told me that a fork was in the bag. After asking for a plate sat down and pour the house fried rice onto the plate. They were stringy with the chicken and the shrimp barely looked done. Rice was just that, just rice. No peas, carrots, eggs, or anything just rice. The chicken and shrimp was so bland I could tell they didn't use any seasoning. Not even salt and pepper. You're better off going next...
