We were coming from Houston (16 hours drive), arrived at 2:45pm and said they wont let anybody come in until 3:30pm. We came back at 3:30pm and now they are asking for tickets because there was an event. We told them we just wanted to see the michael jordan statue and not interested and no time to watch an event. We even asked if someone could go with us to make sure that we are not sneaking in to an event, we really just wanted to see and take photo of the statue - nothing more and they said no. None of them care when people drive far away to see the statue. I wish they will update their time to see the statue on google and website, or they should find a way for visitors to see the statue or i wish they can put it outside again where tourist can admire and take photos of the statue like it was before. We are going back to Houston tomorrow, so we dont have time to go back, especially they open late in the morning. Not an easy access tourist spot. Totally...
