I am no stranger to customer service , hospitality and fine dining as I have massive years in that industry. Imagine my disdain when my guest and I attempted to enter the United Center for out 6:15 PM dinner reservation at Queenies Supper Club inside the United Center on Saturday, 11/12/2022 to be stopped and detained being told that my guests' handbag was too large for entry. While that may be the United Center 's policy, I specically called Queenies and asked their dress code and if there were any specific rules for entry, of course I was told no. After requesting a manager and explaining our entry was for dinner reservations at Queenies we were still denied entry. I AGAIN explained that we were not there for any event but to dine at Queenies. This manager still was denying us entry. He then went to go get a manger from Queenies and stated if she doesn't allow us entry, then we can not enter unless my guest go rent a locker for her handbag. How ABSURB AND STUPID IS THIS???! QUEENIES YOU NEED TO FIX THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY! VERY POOR TASTE!! Upon entry access your guest must walk up stairs for the location of the restaurant. While this was not our issues- where is the accessibility for disabled patrons? After being accidentally ( kinda seems on purpose) overlooked to be seated and that swiftly corrected, we were seated and greeted by a young "assistant" server with water. She was pleasant and polite. After then having contact with our "senior" server and asking about altering the selection of specialty drinks, she told me in a very hostile way that the drinks as she said "is what it is" and can not be altered. As our service progressed , we wanted as less contact with this senior waitstaff as possible because she "seemed" to not want to serve us. She did revisit us asking if our food was great but answered by stating, your food is great, right? She then asked if we wanted to order any cocktails and this is when she spoke to me in condescending way explaining to me as if I were a two year old that the speciality drinks were already pre-mixed and that one ingredient could not be taken out. I then explained to her that if that had been disclosed initially, about already being pre-mixed that would have been sufficient and we would no have revisited the topic of those particular drinks. After this, we were quite uncomfortable and was about to just leave. Because we had an event elsewhere we decided to order meals. Both of our meals were subpar! My friend had the chicken wings and a salad. The wings were fried way too hard and my fish and chips were terrible. The fish was too hard but at least it was hot. The fries were obviously old; stiff, hard, and COLD when brought. At this point we decided to try to eat to not be hungry as we did not have time to go dine somewhere else. The actual ambiance was nice, especially with the live piano being played during service but to have received this kind of service was very disappointing. I am very patient and can roll with service when things unfortunately happen that doesn't sometimes have great service but this experience, especially with this senior sever was disheartening and has me with no interest in returning to Queenies. Queenies - YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS! Such ashame ☹️😳😌

We were here last Friday 1/12/24. This was our second time here but I forgot to review it! This place was amazing and I am happy to give five stars in ALL categories. Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere and great food! They had a live piano player that took requests. I requested “The way you look tonight” by Tony Bennett. Our server Janice was great, very attentive, went through the menu with us and gave us some great suggestions. Though the restaurant was very busy, Janice did a great job in making us feel like we were her only table. As for the food, first we had the scallops appetizer, they were cooked with such care and the sauce that they sat on was delicious, the dish also had small pieces of lobster. They also bring this bread to the table that has cheddar cheese inside that’s out of this world! But don’t get full on the bread so that you can enjoy the food! For the entrees, we had the New York medium and the 10oz Filet Mignon medium. Both were very tasty, but of course my favorite was the filet! Both were cooked to perfection. We ate it with a side of mash potatoes that were very creamy and dangerously addicting! We also had a bottle of Italian wine that went perfectly with our steaks. I wish this restaurant was open everyday!!

Absolutely blown away by the ambience, service, and food! Came at 6pm before the Chicago Bulls game at 7pm. Was kind of worried that we would be strapped on time, but we were not! Food pictured here: I believe the Merkt's Stuffed Garlic Bread was complimentary but is also available as a menu option. Ritz Cracker Breaded Calamari appetizer was perfect in texture and the Smoked Paprika Tartar Sauce was uniquely tasty! Their Merkt's Double Cheddar Burger has Applewood Smoked Bacon, Rémoulade, all on a buttery soft Brioche Bun. Would probably sub out the Merkt's Cheese if possible next time as it was a bit too salty. Not pictured here are the Fried Chicken Wing Lollipops with Michigan Cherry Barbecue Sauce - very crispy and the right amount of sweet-and-sour tang! All-in-all portions were just right too. Host and servers are attentive and you can see that this is a team effort. Unable to add videos to a Google Review, but I uploaded a quick 3-second video upon our exit and passing the piano player! So glad the United Center has this classy spot and hope it sticks around - Will definitely be back!

Went there with some friends that recommended it. Had reservations to have dinner prior to the ELO concert. We were promptly seated and the wait staff assistants did a great job. Our server on the other hand was a little lost. Table ordered drinks. I ordered a mixed drink. Drinks showed up at the table and I was served a beer. Mistakes happen, I get it. 20 min later my drink arrives and we order dinner. Multiple questions were asked about meals on the menu. Our server could not answer one. Almost like he never looked at the menu. Shame on the manage.ent for not having the staff trained properly. Our dinner arrives and my wife's food was delivered to a different table and I was missing part of my side order. Again, things happen, I get it. 25 min later after asking multiple times where the food is (everyone else at table is now done with there meals) I flagged down a manager. Explain to him the situation and tell him we have to leave in 20 to get into the venue and my wife has yet to be served. He says let me check on the meal and proceeds to tell me that we can go late into the venue because there is an opening band (that is nice but I would like to hear the opening band as well) Five minutes later he is at the table with the rest of the food. I visit a lot of restaurants and have had it where something goes wrong with one of the dishes being served. The problem is usually rectified within a few minutes. NOT. 25 minutes. Again he had more excuses. Customers do not want to hear excuses, they want to know you are going to rectify the problem in a timely matter. Serviced sucked but the meals were all fantastic. I thought about giving a one start review but the back of the house with excellent chefs should not be punished. Truth be told the manager comped the two meals that were screwed up. Unfortunately the damage was...

Disorganized and unprepared. We had a reservation but there wasn't a table for us at our time. We finally sat down after they scrambled to find a place to put us. It was 615.. we decided to order everything we wanted because it seemed to be busy and a wait for food and service. I ordered hot tea with honey and cream...when it came they didnt have the black tea only sleepy time or lemon tea...at a basketball game? And no honey. Only sugar. Ok fine. We were told they were out of prime rib...ok so we ordered meatloaf. Few minutes later found out they were out of that too. Ok so chicken. Food was meh...average at best. No salt or pepper shakers on the table. Waiter did the best he could but you could tell he was making excuses. Said it's the end of the season and they are out of everything and aren't reordering. Including bags to put your to go containers in. We had to lug them around the UC and hope to not drop them. The whole thing just kinda was a big disappointment. Second time too. We definitely won't be back even tho we are season ticket holders. Gotta do better here on all aspects guys. Out of your normal menu items by 615? No bread and butter or salt and pepper on the table? 18$ for an old fashioned that didn't even fill half the glass and had the wrong type of ice and ingredients? We honestly have had better food and service at...
