I feel like I've been floating around looking for a stylist for a while now. I've had some very good ones, but I none like Lupita. She is truly curious about all things hair, and it showed. It was my first time with her and she took extra time to really talk-through everything with me. She asked me so many questions to get a sense of my hair, my routine, everything. Only after did she give me my haircut. And while she was doing everything, she educated me on my hair type and strategies I could take to keep it healthier.

And...she didn't do the "4-5 inches" thing. So many times I go to a stylist to get my hair cut and layered. "I'll take 2 inches off" they say, but they end up taking so much more. She says she'll take off 2 inches, she means it! She listens. And often, when I get layers, they cut my top layers too short, which I don't like because I like keeping them long. Again, she listened.

Lupita is just the best of the best! This was my first ever appointment with her and I was a bit nervous considering that my past experiences at salons have been a hit or miss. Immediately after arriving and settling in, she asked me in depth questions regarding my hair and hair goals. She closely analyzed my hair and would add in some tips regarding styling, washing, and products fit for my hair type. I would also like to mention that I have very thick hair and she knew exactly how to handle it! I had a vision for how I wanted my hair and she executed it perfectly! She was extremely knowledgable and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I would 100% recommend (actually, I’ve already mentioned her to a few people🤭) and will now be coming to her for all things hair related!...

Lupita is an incredibly talented hairstylist that deserves every bit of recognition for her craft. As a woman of color with pretty thick wavy hair, I’ve found it quite hard to get good haircuts and color before. Not only did Lupita do an incredible job but also she made me feel so welcome and comfortable the whole time. She took the time to explain what she was doing throughout the appointment and was super patient with my questions on the cut and care. I have never felt so confident in my own skin and am thrilled with my cut and color.
