I’ve never written a bad review for a place before, but I just can’t get over the lazy service at this place. They sell premium pieces and you’d expect at least pleasant customer service, but they seem like they hate their job. I’m not kidding when I say their energy sucks the joy of out this place and really made my time in the store not enjoyable at all. The tall guy with the long black hair doesn’t look you in the face, has zero emotion, and makes you feel like you’re wasting his time when you ask for help.
The first time I came in the store was for hemming on my very first pair of selvedge denim. I could’ve sworn he rolled his eyes when I came and said that’s why I’m here. Idk if it was because he wasn’t selling something but instead fulfilling a service they offer but he seemed miserable the whole time. I actually didn’t want to come back again after that.
The second time was only because their website showed a jean that I’m really interested in and wanted to try on in person. I asked an older gentlemen I was here for this one jean and he immediately said “oh we don’t carry that”. I had to show him on his website that it was advertised as in stock in their store. He had no idea why it was on the site. Ok fine. He walked off and didn’t ask me a single question. Not like is there anything else I’m interested in, try to offer any other recommendations, etc. Ya know basic customer service. Btw the jean is still on their site as I write this.
I like a higher rise wider cut of jean and they don’t appear to carry any of those cuts. Some of the brands they sell make those cuts but I guess they don’t either have them or sell them. The store and its associates felt like the 2012 raw denim era. Everything is slim tapered and skinny. The associates give off that “I’m better than you” energy as well. I love many of the products they sell but I’ll never give this store my...
Read moreI can only speak of the online experience I had but I wasn't too impressed. I at first sent an email asking if they do international orders, to which I got no reply. After some research on their website I figured they did, so ordered a jacket that is out of stock everywhere but their store, and got an email saying there was a tear on it so they couldn't sell it to me. After a couple of emails back and forth, they told me they were going to send it back to 3Sixteen to get it repaired, and would let me know if that was possible.
A week later, no reply. I ring them up on the Friday, and the girl says the guy Luke is not in the store right now, and will get in touch on Monday. Having waited all day on Monday, still nothing, so I call them and they tell me that the jacket is discoloured and 3Sixteen would probably give them a refund. To be fair to the guy he said he would give me a discount on a similar jacket, which is why I have given 2 stars.
I call up 3Sixteen, and they say they have neither received the jacket or any correspondence about it. It seems to me the shop is very disorganised, and/or that they were lying about the jacket although I have no idea why they would do that. I got a weird feeling that they just didn't want to deal with me or sell the jacket to me due to their lack of communication and responsiveness. Their online experience leaves much to be desired, and they should really focus on customer service. It's not a good look when the customer is chasing you up about...
Read moreSo disappointed with the customer service from, who I would assume is, the manager. She tried to make small talk and asked me if I was asian or not. I figured it was okay considering she was also asian but she just kept making comments questioning my ethnicity and if I was "only a little asian".
That aside I came out of the dressing room to show my partner the outfit I had tried on and she immediately hovered and insisted on me purchasing the pants and getting them hemmed. I understand trying to make a sale but she kept telling me I should buy the pants even after I said id like to think it over. She also went to grab a different color variant for me and asked what size I was wearing. When I told her a size 29 she asked me if I was being serious and "those arent too big on you?" Like girl get with the program you work for a store that specializes in selling pants and your shocked that someone comfortably fits into a specific size? This is only my experience with her. After a misunderstanding about using a visa gift card she berated the employee that was helping us at the register for not knowing the policy and cussed my partner out for asking her to clarify why they couldn't try to use the gift card. Only go here if you like being...
