We bought a bed and couch from this place when we moved to Chicago a few years ago. We didn't know much about the city then, but after living here for a few years we still think they're one of the best!The service was great and price was affordable. They happen to have a labor day weekend sale then and we got a couch. It was an impulse buy which doesn't always turn out perfect, but we loved our couch, which means they sold us something that was solid quality! (The bed we have since upgraded to a firmer option because of our personal preference).

Today, we went in there thinking we "might" get a new couch. The female salesman who was working there was so nice and she showed us around like I requested and she didn't look bored or uninterested while we were looking. She was so patient and kept her positive energy around us, which I appreciated a ton. We made a decision to buy one of the couches there because of her. One of the other salesmen showed up to take over right when we're making the decision, and helped us decide which one to buy (and he happened to be the guy who sold us couch 2 years ago!), and the owner(?) helped us with cleaning technique. The lady who cleans the stains and fixes the fabric also spoke with us for a while to answer the questions we asked. They all helped us with different things and all equally helpful. We ended up buying a nice couch that was little over our budget, but great design & quality. First of all I would like to say That I'm VERY VERY VERY PLEASED AND SATISFIED WITH MY ALTIRA SOFA IN CHARCOAL GREY. THE VERY 1ST TIME I WENT TO AFFORDABLE FURNITURE I WAS GREETED BY BASIL WHO WAS VERY NICE IN ASSISTING ME WITH MY SELECTION. MY FURNITURE WAS DELIVERED BY STEVE DEE And RODNEY WHO ALSO CAME BACK TODAY TO PUT MY FELT ON AT BOTTOM OF SOFA. THEY TOLD ME A WEEK AGO WHEN THEY DELIVERED IT THAT AT TIMES WHEN THE FURNITURE IS BEING SHIPPED AND DELIVERED FROM WAREHOUSE. IT GETS MOVED AROUN A LOT. SO THEY CAME AND PUT A NEW FELT ON THE BOTTTOM THAT JUST HAD A LITTKE hole IN IT . THEY TOOK CARE OF IT. AND ALSO KUDOS TO JOSHUA AS WELL FOR COMING OUT THE 1ST TIME TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE FELT AS HE TOLD ME THAT SOME OTHER GENTLEMEN WOULD COME OUT AND. COMPLETE IT AS HE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH FELT THAT WAS WIDE ENOUGH. SO TO QUICK AND EFFICIENT AVAIL . I CALLLED ROBERT AND HE REASSURED ME THAT ALL WAS WELL AND HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF ME WITH THE FELT AND IM SO PLEASED TO KNOWT THAT TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAMWORK IM SO HAPPY I WAS IN GOOD HANDS WITH NOT ONLY MAKING MY RIGHT CHOICE TO GO TO AFFORDABLE FURNITURE TO GET QUALITY AND QUANTITY WORK . We had an outstanding experience at Affordable Furniture & Carpet while buying a new couch.

The salesperson showed us all the options that matched what we were looking for, then gave us time to try all of them out and decide which we liked best. There was no pushiness or hovering, she just wanted us to find a couch that worked for our space. They had plenty of options and we found a couch perfect for our new apartment.

Delivery was free and easy. There was a mishap when the couch didn’t fit through our front door (our fault for not measuring), but the delivery person made a quick call to Rob (the owner) and he said they could disassemble the couch, move it in, then reassemble it. This was above and beyond service and came at no extra charge, even though they had to hire a specialist to get the job done.

I’m sitting on our new couch now and it’s exactly what we were looking for. I’ll definitely return to this shop in the future when we need other furniture, and I would recommend...
