This seriously is one of the best views we’ve seen in Chicago, definitely worth the trip out itself! There are plenty of heaters around the rooftop & even a fire pit so you can continue to enjoy dining outside even in these cold temps. For the winter, they also have heated igloos that you can reserve with dining/drink packages! But don’t worry, there are also a few tables inside if you get too cold.
Their menu includes shareable options like Mediterranean hummus, Sweet Chili Wings, & more! We really enjoyed the variety that the charcuterie board offered, & it was the perfect compliment to our cocktails. The pork sliders were also delicious; we really liked the additions of the grilled pineapple & tangy bbq sauce.
For entrees, we’d highly recommend both the chicken & salmon, but every other option seemed like a great choice too. The chicken was very unique in that it was stuffed w prosciutto, mozzarella, & arugula, & had an amazing fennel cream sauce on top. Everything in the salmon dish was packed w flavor as well, right down to each couscous!

Read moreI was looking for a really nice Rooftop Bar for my birthday which was July 6th. The Kennedy Rooftop looked really nice which it was. 15 of my friends came and supported and spent money there. Everything was going nicely until I was told I’m assuming was the Manager was very rude to my friends about only one credit card can be used. Well 1. You only told that to 1 person and that was not mentioned to the group when we was all sitting down by our waiter. That would of been the correct thing to do is explain 2. You don’t be rude and disrespectful to a patron who is spending money at your establishment. You first admit your wrong , apologies and try and make it right but don’t go back and fourth because you have no customer service skills!!! 3. I spoke to the gentleman and ask if it could be broken up onto 3 credit cards he said that was fine but we actually only Used 2. Credit cards. The bill was over $550 dollars Our waiter was told how much to put on the first card. He did it and my girlfriend signed for the amount that she was paying for the other half went to my other friend which she signed for with the correct amount as well so how is it that my girlfriend who paid first got charged for the whole amount. Does not make any sense what’s so ever! Then she is trying to get this taking care of and the people she spoke to can’t do anything about this huge mistake. I am disappointed in this establishment. To the owner you lost patrons to come back. All 15 teen of us. My advice either retrain the people who you have working for you or get others in there that know how to do their job along with great client service because Kennedy Rooftop does...
