I found a computer monitor on my phone that I wanted. The staples website says there is one available at this store. I walked in, was greeted by an employee, and told him that I'm looking to buy a new monitor.
He walks me over to the section, and says he will get an employee from that department to assist me. I look at their display area and don't find the one i'm looking for. 10 minutes go by, and nobody shows up. I get in line for the register, and show the cashier the open site on my phone, and ask her to please bring and ring up the monitor.
She shows the phone to an assistant manager. The manager takes a look, and right away starts apologising ...and saying that when the website says there's only one left, it's referring to the display model, and they can't sell that one. She then offers to order one for me. When I let her know that I can order it myself no problem, she says she can have the shipping waived.
I then say ok, but first let me look at this alleged display model, to see if I even want it. Keep in mind, at this point I'm almost entirely certain they don't have it on display. She spends a minute or two looking for it, and then says she's gonna check in the back room. Lo and behold, she comes out 5 minutes later holding the monitor, still sealed in its box.
I am giving them 4 stars because in spite of their confusion, they were all very polite, courteous and professional. And ultimately I was able to get what I was looking for, even though it took a little longer than I...
Read moreI went to pick up my order on a Monday afternoon via curbside pickup (I had my 8 months old baby in the car sleeping), on the phone for 6 mins someone picked up but it was from a customer service then he transferred me to the print department waited another 5 mins NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE!!! So then I had to carry my baby inside woke him up from his nap, then I walked in while the phone is ringing in my hand and there are 2 people in that department with NO customers of course and I said "you don't wanna pick up that phone?" Like seriously?!?! Then I said hi pick up? Then the lady said "FOR?" Is that how you respond to your customer? Instead of ok what's your last name or your order number? What is the point of a curbside pickup? I would normally don't do curbside but it was necessary because I didn't wanna wake up a sleeping baby. Read moreHad a great experience at this store. Had a out of date expired Hp ink cartridges that purchased from another Staples. I call Hp and they told me to bring them to a Staples. Was greeted by the store manager and I was already a little upset because of the Hp cartridges would not work. The manager at the store went above and beyond as a manager to accommodate for the Hp Cartridges that would not work. He enlightened to situation with a humorous story he told me which made me feel comfortable. After giving him my Staples account that I have used for years the gentleman exchange the expired cartridges I had purchased with new updated ones. These are very expensive and thought I was out of $135 for purchasing them. I own several businesses and wish some of my managers would perform as he did taking care of the problem and me leaving with new ink cartridges as a happy Staples customer Want to Thank him for the help and enlightening the situation.
