Universal Studio Store — Local services in West Hollywood

The store is great but very poor service. After purchasing an interactive wand for my son, we later went over to the HP Theme Park and noticed the wand wasn't working properly. Even the cast member there tried it and could not understand why it wasn't working. This happened few days before the theme park was shut down due to the COVID-19. The lady did not tell us we could get it checked at Olivander's, and I just found out about it from the site. A week later, we went back to US Store where we got it from and explained to the manager so she took the interactive wand to the back room to have it checked. She gave it back and said it was good, and I trusted her. We returned home to find out something was missing. The map was gone and not in the box. I had to contact someone there and was told to go back there and pick it up. A simple mistake from an employee/manager turned frustratingly for me to deal with the inconvenience and driving distance. My kiddo loves Harry Potter. I was excited to purchase sweet gifts to take home! I went to this store 5 times and did not get the item I was seeking! I kept retuning at the store employees' arrangement to make a return because they said they would have the product when I returned. The manager, Tom, blamed a different store inside universal for all of the mix up, and he did not accept responsibility for the fact that four of his store employees gave incorrect information. He said his employees were not very knowledgeable about the wands in the store. It was a Harry Potter Store! The manager offered an inconsequential discount for the extensive effort and inconvenience of returning to the store 4 times since original purchase to not ever get the item. One of the most beautiful places to visit. Must visit if in LA. The only problem was it was too crowded. Every ride took almost 40 minutes. Best was the Harry Potter ride , just can't afford to miss it. 2nd best was Jurassic Park and transformers. Just try to avoid the long queue of Mario bros, as it might take almost 75 min . Minions and kung fu panda are absolutely a theater experience. Overall it's a dream experience to visit a universal studio. Make sure you reach early around 8:15 as parking is a big hassle and takes some 30-40 minutes to reach the main entrance from the parking area to the entrance. Even many rides and activities are there for small kids. Food is ok but ice cream...
