The Capstone at Port Imperial — Local services in West New York

Everything from my first outreach to lease application to move in to now 2 months into my lease has been great. The process to view apartments, apply, and get a decision was all very quick and pleasant. I reached out on a Sunday (Mother's Day to be exact) and got a reply (from Erga Hoxha) within a couple of hours about setting up a tour the very next day.

Once I saw the building, I was blown away. They really took care of every little detail. In fact, when I opened the refrigerator in the model apartment, it was fully stocked with candy, snacks, and drinks. I had two appointments for visits the following day and neither building stood a chance against the Capstone. By Wednesday of that same week I was filling out the application and submitted it by Thursday morning. A few days later I was approved and we started the lease signing process. Another week later, I was moving in to my new home. Erga was incredibly attentive, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. She's a great communicator and really works to understand what is most important to potential tenants so that she can match them with the right unit. Since this is a relatively new building, there were many units to choose from, so her help was key to making a decision we would be happy with.

The building has got great amenities which are maintained really well (clean and always working). I visited some buildings where they took me on a tour and I saw damaged equipment at the gym, etc. The Capstone is huge, so there's plenty of space and if you make the most of the amenities, your home is much bigger than the square footage of your actual apartment. Last but not least, the concierge team is absolutely awesome (shoutout to Maximo, Yami, and Jonathan)!

We have been living at The Capstone since June this year and the experience could have not been better. The building and the staff have been everything that we expected and more. The location is ideal for us and the community within the building has been so welcoming and engaging.

First, we were mistaken. We selected this building for the looks and amenities no realizing that its crown jewelers were its staff. From Erga as the master of ceremonies and black belt in “making things happen” to the management office team (Fabiola and Jackie), the concierge team (Maximo, Jonathan, and Yameline), the maintenance crew (Matthew, Cesar, Juan, and Freddy as their leader), and the many others that assisted us in our journey to the unit (Eduardo on the service elevator, the cleaning crew, Carlos as the in-building mover, Karla in the garage area, etc.), the professionalism, courtesy and just willingness to help and ensure that you are as comfortable as possible have been the best part of our experience at The Capstone so far.

Next, we were not used to the community within a building complex since we were coming from a single family home in Bergen County but the number of people and their diverse background that we had met at The Capstone, in such a short amount of time, has been quite a refreshing and energizing experience.

I lived at Capstone Apt for 2 years and moved out few weeks ago. I recommend this Apt for anyone who’s considering to move in this area at Port Imperial, NJ. I had a lot of good memories while living in there. I reminisced all my good memories when I was returning my keys back since my lease ended up today. All the staffs here are absolutely professional and supportive. Miklos was the one who did a tour for me when I first moved in. He helped me to get in and also helped me even when I was moving out. James, Alicia, Chanelly and Maximo also were very supportive whenever I had any kind of issues. Everyone working at the concierge are also very helpful all the time. One more thing that I have to say is that the staffs maintain the building clean and safe everyday. My most favorite part of the apt was that I had my own in-unit laundry machine at home and the 4th floor amenity area. I used to hang out there when my friends visited me. I also could use that common space when I was reading a book or working from home with my laptop. The gym and pool are so modern and beautiful. ACME market is right in front of the building and the Ferry is very close, just about 10 min walking distance. It was really convenient for me to commute to work in the city.
