My experience at this ice cream store was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the lackluster service was evident. There wasn't a single person in sight, and we had to wait.
Excited to try their reputed three-flavor cup, my two friends and I eagerly began our decision-making process. However, our excitement quickly waned as server told us with her poke face that we were limited to just one flavor sample each. Seriously? This rule seemed utterly absurd, especially considering there were no other customers in the store at the time.
I couldn't help but recall the glowing reviews from others, praising the friendly servers who generously allowed them to try numerous flavors. Sadly, that was far from our reality. Our brief sampling experience felt like a race against time, as the serving size of each flavor became smaller and smaller with every try.
We left the store feeling disheartened and frustrated. It's disheartening when you have high expectations, only to be met with such subpar treatment. Needless to say, this was my first and last visit to this ice cream store. I refuse to support a business that fails to value its customers and provide the quality...
Read moreI would like to tell you how great the service was here, specifically Tanya!!!! I drove from fort lee to the englewood location because my son requested a mini vermonster for his 4th grade graduation. Englewood said they were out of containers. I begged them to get creative somehow and use a diff container to make it happen they said no multiple times and they said I should try west New York or ridgewood. Then drove all the way to west New York and they were out of containers as well. I felt defeated and my kids were getting upset but then Tanya was willing to get creative and actually put in effort and asked me if I’d be ok with her using the only container they had left which was currently being used to store toppings. I said of course! So she took the time and washed it thoroughly and made the mini vermonster for my son, she even gave us 10% discount to celebrate his graduation. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE LIKE!! I greatly appreciated her and her willingness to make it happen for my son. THANK YOU!!!!! Read moreThe cashier had attitude from the moment we walked in, clearly upset that we entered after 9 (why not say you’re closed rather than serve us?). My wife ordered 2 small cups and was given one small cup with 2 flavors. Honestly, no problem! We asked for another cup instead so that we could split it for our guests. She gave it to us and right after said “you’re not allowed to do this,” with a rude tone and an even ruder face. We told her she heard us wrong and gave us the wrong order. Not our fault and she didn’t need to give us the second cup if it wasn’t allowed. She continued to talk down to us as if we were stupid. None of this had to happen. If she wasn’t going to serve us kindly, she could have just said they were closed. If the cup wasn’t allowed, she could have told us to order another or just not given us the cup.
