Very disappointed in my experience today. It was a Saturday and I was the only customer in the store. I walked in a employee was at the checkout counter, didn't greet me for one. I proceed to the cat food which I found they were out of the kind I wanted so I stood there for quite some time pondering what to do...as my cat has been having stomach issues so I was going to go back to a old brand of food. There was not a single employee in sight to even ask nor did one even approach me to ask if I needed help after standing there dumbfounded for quite some time. I finally decided on a similar food and headed to the checkout counter where I proceeded to stand for a minimum of 2 minutes for a employee to come check me out. Again I was the only customer in the store! I can understand if the store was crazy busy but to me this acceptable! The cashier I tried to make small talk and tell him about my cats stomach issues he just proceed to completely ignore that and asked if I was a friend of chucks? The whole interaction was probably the worst customer service I have ever received at a chuck and don's. I really think they need to bring back the survey option at the bottom of the receipts that they had many years ago so they can get feedback on...

Best Pet Supplies Store If you treat your pet like the prince or princess they are then Chuck and Don's is the place for you. Great quality products at reasonable prices with helpful and knowledgable staff. The best is their loyalty program, Friends of Chuck :-), like buy 12 and get the 13th free, monthly catalogue with coupons (I always get a coupon for my dog's premium almost as expensive as king crab so he better love me like his... uh queen? oops) and the in-store quarterly savings that you accrue; spend more save more. They are always running deals too like get Chuck Bucks during the holidays. You can totally maximize your dollar and get the best products on the market for your expensive, but very lovable and non-exhangeable best friend(s). My only gripe is my closest location has some odd parking that makes me carry that dog food a few extra feet, which shouldn't be a grip since they always offer to carry it for me, but being the gentleman that I am can't accept someone else carrying my dog food... Well,...

I slipped on water by their freezer and fell inside their store and the manager just stood there and was looking at me...and then a man walked in to return dog food and she just walked away from me to help him. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY bizarre behavior. A person (me) slipped and fell down onto your concrete floor inside your store and you do not even offer a hand to help get me back up. What I did notice is she glanced quickly at my footwear. I was wearing winter snow boots. I will definitely be contacting their head office. I shop there very frequently and am terribly disappointed at her aloofness and non caring attitude. She did mention that she was the manager. I specifically asked for her name as well. Ugh you need a lesson...
