Like everyone else, i have anxiety over getting my hair cut. Ive been screwed over royally in the past and had some really horrible cuts. I made an appointment with Alyssa, and when i walked in and was greeted so warmly. The girl at the desk was super friendly and helpful! She set me up with Alyssa, and she asked what i wanted done. (I wanted 12+inches chopped) and she was really attentive to how I wanted my hair cut, which isn't something ive experienced at other salons. She cut it exactly what how wanted, and it looks great! Alyssa made me feel comfortable in her chair, even though I was awkward (Sorry, girl! Haircuts scare me haha) Lastly, the price shocked me. I didnt look at pricing before I went, and expected to pay AT LEAST $60. For a wash, cut and blow dry/styling, I paid $47. I deleted my original review and am now leaving 5 stars. The salon called me after I left my review (I believe it was the stylist who should have gotten 1 star, not the salon) and offered to have me come back to fix it. Yvonne fixed my hair in less than an hour and it is the BEST haircut I’ve ever gotten. Everyone here is so nice and friendly. They didn’t charge me for the second haircut, which I was really happy about.

I will definitely be returning to the Guillotine and Yvonne certainly gained a client today. Kudos to the salon for quality customer service and actually taking the time to have me come back and fix the original haircut. Not many places actually put that effort...

My stylist did not come close to what I asked for. I went the day before for a consultation to make sure I communicated clearly the color and style I wanted. I showed a bunch of reference photos. During the actual appointment she didn’t even ask or look at the reference photo. She asked what I wanted, even though we went through it at the consultation. If I wanted the color I left with, I could have bought a regular red dye and done it at home. I was dissatisfied and disappointed leaving with my hair not being close nor do I even care for the way she tried to cut and style my hair. Why bother getting a consultation and pay that amount of money. The girl was sweet and nice but...
