I purchased two items on 1/18/25 at around 5 pm. Both items were full price. When item needed to be returned for a smaller size. I arrived at the store on 1/20/25 at around 4 pm. This was on the cold days. I walk in the store get the smaller sized sweater and stand in line behind a costumer. The manager tells me that if I want to shop because if you spend $50 you get 30 percent off. I already knew this because on facebook there was a posting for 1/18-1/20. I stay in line now there are two customers behind me. Now it's my turn, I tell her I need to get this sweater for a smaller size and can I get the 30 percent off. So can you return the entire purchase. Now I remind you I should have had the 30 percent off when I originally purchased it. So not only did the manager scold me once she did it three times. First, tells me we don't usually do price adjustments but I will do this one time (and she was not happy about it). I say thank you. As she is doing it, she again says I'm going to do this again because I am the manager but the owner is not going to be happy with me. I say thank you. Now she has done the transaction, and asks me if she told me about the 30 percent off. Why does that matter? I technically should have already had it from original purchase. My girlfriend couldn't believe that I just didn't say "return all of it. I don't want any of the clothes." But on her last time of scolding me, I just said thank you for making the adjustment. Never mentioned that I should have had the discount. Just remained polite. Then she says right when she hands me the package. All sales are final. How is that possible when none of these clothes were marked down. Actually, the sweater was a new arrival. I drove from Strongsville to this store two times. I hardly ever buy anything for myself. I finally did. I will never shop in your store again. My girlfriend won't either. I am in charge of people many many more than she is. And I deal with the public all of the time. Many unreasonable people. But check your facebook post. She is in the wrong. Make it right without...
Read morePurchased a camisole from a young employee who informed me that everything was returnable for a full refund. I came back about a week later to return the item as it did not fit me. The manager told me the item was not returnable per the policy. This is completely different information than I was provided initially. I notified the manager that this was not what I was told by the employee. The response I got was “I will talk to her but I’m doing you a favor”. She offered a direct exchange on the same day at the same moment. No store credit. No refund. The entire interaction was unpleasant and frustrating. The manager was very rude and...
Read moreApricot Lane was the very first store I entered at Crocker Park in Cleveland, and it was the only place I purchased any items! The store had a great mix of styles that weren’t all geared toward teenagers…we older women also had stylish garments to choose from. The owner was fantastic! She was so helpful with suggestions that were perfect for me. I bought one outfit and two tops, and I can’t wait to wear them. I will definitely put Apricot Lane on my list of stops the next time I’m in Cleveland, and in the meantime I’ll shop on...
