5 Stars For Everything

First off let's start by the smell when I walked in. Made it even harder to decide because I love EVERYTHING and there was such a wide variety and huge menu to choose from. OVERWHELMING but that's my problem not theirs.

It was my first time here and I heard of it from a friend who went once and raved about it. I love sweet crepes but since I had yet to eat I wanted something filling and savory. I was extremely indecisive as always, I mean I literally took 15 whole minutes to decide. I was greeted by a very pleasant girl with dark hair and the other girl at the counter was extremely comforting and patient. While I stood there, she had given me her own opinions and suggestions also based off popularity.

I ended up going with the Greek one had feta an awesome amount of that and chicken peppers onion tomato everything that was named on that item was on that crepe more than I expected. When she brought it out I was so pleased by the way it was prepared and displayed on that plate. I'm in the restaurant business so a big thing with us is how we serve things.

DELICIOUS. I dont understand how some of these reviews stay stingy or rude or any of that. I could not believe the amount of things I got inside of this crepe for 10 bucks. The price is right and worth it. Long story short after finishing that I went back up and ordered a sweet crepe they didnt have this specific one but I ordered it to my liking and it was prepared with no upcharge I got it with peanut butter nutella strawberry and banana no problem.

Also my friend got a iced coffee late it was so good and I got a peach tea wonderful selection of drinks smoothie shakes... I know I seem obsessed but maybe that's because I am. cant believe I live around the corner and this is my first time here. I will definitely be back here to try some others very soon!!!! These few people could have very likely felt like complaining. No offense and To each their own of course, but these good reviews definitely outweigh that. I don't feel like this place could possibly be inconsistent with customer service and food quality.

Try this place...

Today was the first time visiting Crepes in the City. I had the Judy crepe (bacon, spinach, tomato, egg, cheese and mayo). I really liked this crepe although as I got to where most of the ingredients were, the mayo got to be a bit much (and I am one who usually likes a lot of mayo). Other than the mayo, I thought there was the right amount of the other ingredients.

My sister had the Monte Cristo and wished she would have gotten something different as it did not have much taste.

Portion wise, the crepe was plenty big enough. My sister and I agreed that we could have just split one crepe and it would have been enough and may have allowed us enough room to try a dessert crepe.

Now to what I didn’t like. Their menu board had no prices for the crepes and there are no prices listed online. Beverages and some other items had the prices listed. Also I paid by credit card and was not given a receipt. When I wasn’t given a receipt at the register when I ordered, I figured there would be a receipt when my food was brought out to the table but there was no receipt.

I would like to go back sometime in the future and try a dessert crepe or their waffles. I saw a few people with the strawberry waffles and they...

Wonderful food and a lovely kind staff. They have outdoor seating with heating tents if you dont want to sit inside. They have lots of open space for social distancing with is really nice. They also use paper plates and plastic silverware so you can just throw it away when you're done.

There is an expansive menu and you are able to take things away or add things to your liking which is something you dont always see. No matter what you get the food is picture worthy!

My friend got a freshly squeezed lemonade which wasn't as sweet as you would get at the fair but Im sure you could ask for extra sugar. She also got a Belgian Waffle with strawberries, bananas and whipped cream. She doesn't typically enjoy waffles but she absolutely loved this one.

I got a hot chocolate which also wasn't as sweet as I am used to it was a nice chocolate flavor and it also had whipped cream ontop. I had gotten a Avocado Chicken Crepe and it was absolutely amazing. The portion was quite large and I couldn't finish it all so you won't leave hungry. The avocado was fresh and a really pleasant texture. The crepe was well made and didnt fall apart either. It was full of tender shredded chicken and vegetables.

I will 10/10 be...

Cashier(maybe manager) was counting money on the counter when approaching to order. They were very upset/frustrated that I chose that time to place an order. I could've waited longer, which I already did for a few minutes before walking up to the counter. Placed my order with a visibly frustrated individual. The next person behind me, the cashier was suddenly super happy and polite, a total 360 compared to my experience. While my order was prepped I saw the cashier tell the cooks to give the person behind me the order first. The customer behind me received their order first. When the 2nd order came up the cook handed it to me and verbally repeated the item, unfortunately this was not my order, but the customers who ordered behind me. My order actually came up first and was given to the customer who ordered behind me. The staff did fix the order to give me the correct item. Taste wise the crepe was just ok, nothing special. The coffee tasted burned, not fresh, maybe watered down. Better to just walk the extra block or two and order from the big corporation down the street.
