For our wedding, we decided to order all the tux's through Mens Warehouse due to the convenience of our bridal party. When we walked in, we looked through their catalog and I explained the look I was going for. Your typical, classic "james bond tux".
My husband and kids got measured and all of our groomsmen got measured throughout the next few weeks. When my husband was measured, I kept asking the manager, Marisol, if the pants will have the satin stripe and confirming the design of the vest. She kept assuring me that everything is correct, but she kept referring to the "Tux" as a "Suit". That left a knot in my stomach. I knew something was off.... She was very dismissive during the measuring processes and kept asking her associate to bring her a soda. Fanta to be exact. That is how well I remember this interaction...
I BEGGED the store to get the "tux's" in earlier since our wedding was on thanksgiving weekend and due to the holiday we are losing a day for anything that could go wrong. The store told me there was nothing they can do, they "tux's" will most likely arrive on Monday week of the wedding. My brother in law surprisingly got his on Friday, the week before the wedding. Of course, the pants come with no satin stripe and the vest had some HIDIOUS pattern on it. The week of the wedding, almost EVERY SINGLE SUIT HAD AN ISSUE. My husbands jacket was too small, my brother in laws pants were too short, my nephew's pants were too long, my kids shirts were HUGE, my dads jacket was too small (then a smaller one was re-ordered) and my other brother in laws pants were too big. This all happened on Tuesday, the week of the wedding. Due to the holiday, they had to re-order everything and the guys were able to pick up on Friday but my dad's was ready on Saturday, as I mentioned earlier, an even smaller size than what came. My dad had to walk around my entire wedding with his suit jacket open.
I called corporate and they basically told me there is nothing they can do due to holiday and just offered all my guys 20% off.
This was THE WORST experience ever !!!
If you are just looking for a nice suit, I would defiantly recommend Mens Warehouse. If you are looking for get rentals for your wedding... DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT order from Mens Warehouse. You will be screwed like I was with no remorse.
The other manager, David, was very nice and apologetic. Something the other managers should learn instead of placing blame on other and waving the receipt in our bridal...

Went into the AH store on 9/21 to find a pair of suit pants that matched a suit jacket for my college student who is a business major. Had to order the suit pants online and had them shipped to the store for pick up. Needed to receive them by 10/4 in order to get to my student. Received 0 tracking information on my receipt. Receipt did note that pants would be delivered in 5-7 business days.
Called the AH store on 9/30 and asked the sales associate who answered the phone if she could provide me with a status update on my order and when pants would arrive. Looked my order up by last name only. Rudely told me that they had not arrived and would need to call back tomorrow.
Instead, I called Men's Warehouse customer service center and asked them for help in tracking my order. With my order number, they were able to track the pants and confirmed that they were delivered to the AH store on 9/25. The CS rep was nice enough to call the AH store, confirm the order had been delivered, spoke to a manager, and told me that I could go into the store to pick up the pants directly from said manager that day.
When I arrived less than an hour later at the store, the sales associate was standing outside playing on her cell phone. She followed me into the store and asked if she could help me (there was no one inside the store). I told her that I was there to speak to a manager. Her response was that there was no manager on duty. My response to her was that I knew she was lying because customer service had just spoken to the store manager regarding my online order less than an hour ago. And as the words left my mouth to her, the store manager walked out from the back room and identified himself. He was collected my order and wrapped up the suit pants.
I informed him what poor customer service his sales associate had along with her lying to my face. He never apologized to me or asked how he could make the situation better. He just made excuses. I called MW customer service to file a formal complaint after the experience at the store. Upper management needs to better train their staff on proper customer service etiquette. If you don't want to work with the public and provide support, go find another job. After being treated this way, I will NEVER go back to...
Read moreI'm no Karen and I never leave reviews, but this experience has been absurd and I'm tired of being forced to use this company as a groomsman. I'd also like to add that this isn't a slight on this location specifically so much as it is the company as a whole based on many experiences at different locations.
However, this time around I had measurements taken 2 months ago and was told that my tux would be ready 2 weeks ahead of the wedding to allow time for final alterations. It was delivered to the store 4 days before the wedding and almost nothing fit. The shirt and the vest weren't even close. Another groomsman recieved shoes for a todler. Size 8 todler shoes. Hes 6ft 250lbs. Cant make this up.
Why do you even waste our time to come in an take measurements if youre just going to piece together random sizes? I PAID $269.99 FOR THIS.
I was told that they'd order a smaller vest and a larger shirt for me (that I'll have to take more time out of my week to go an pick up). I was also told that the jacket could not be altered, so my choices were a jacket that fit the torso, but prevented me from raising my arms past my rib cage OR a jacket that fit the arms/shoulder better, but would fit the torso like a garbage bag. I opted for the former and decided I'll just keep my arms at my sides for pictures and for the ceremony. I PAID $269.99 FOR THIS.
Here's the kicker. One of the employee's kept harping on the $20 late fee that would be charged to me if I didn't return the suit less than 24 hours after the wedding (wedding is saturday evening and the return deadline is 6pm on sunday). The timeframe is rediculous and it is insulting that this is imposed while your company can deliver on your promises a week and a half late with a product that's half baked and with no apology at that.
I will continue to share this experience with everyone I can and will gladly pay 4 times this price to avoid working with your incompentant clown shop...
